The hotel is well located in the city centre between Union Square and the business district. The hotel was clean and I enjoyed their free wine tasting in the late afternoon. Small luxury! The hotel gym was also good, although a bit small.

Great hotel, right in the middle of San Francisco, easy to walk everywhere from AT&T park to fishermans wharf to China town, staff go above and beyond only real criticism is the sound proofing to the outside.

I stayed at the 8th floor of this boutique hotel. It felt comfortable and homey, almost no-frills. Rooms are small but the bathrooms are newly renovated. Front desk staff were professionally friendly. Location-wise it's within walking distance to the Ferry Building, the financial district, and Union Square. It's not spectacular by any means but has more character than a typical chain hotel.

The hotel is in a great location. Central to getting to transport, Chinatown, Union Square and restaurants. Room was a good size for a city hotel. Lovely comfy bed, good storage, good toiletries and nice bathroom. We had a room facing the street which was quite noisy, and as the hotel is an older hotel, there was quite a lot of noise from doors shutting. Luckily we had earplugs which helped. The room had a coffee machine but I would have preferred a kettle to make other drinks. Saying that the c... Read more

The hotel was very nice. Everything in the room is new and clean. The bathroom was a bit small, with no bathtub and an awkwardly positioned temperature control for the shower (can't turn it on without getting wet). They only provide one regular coffee pod in the room. You have to ask for more which is annoying when you find out. Otherwise everything worked well.

My husband just checked out today and spend half of our visit with no power or heat (and it was very cold outside). We were on the 3rd floor (the only floor affected by a more than 12 hour power outage), and we were never offered a new room or compensation for any part of our trip. The desk clerk offered me a temporary place to shower, but that's it. We got ready in the pitch dark for our day and stumbled around the room before finally throwing on a sweatshirt and leaving for the day. Additi... Read more

I really enjoyed our stay at Galleria Park Hotel! Such a quaint boutique hotel! I found it through Hotels Tonight app, and was able to find a good last minute booking deal for a Saturday night. I was really happy to be able to bring our large golden retriever too. No extra fee and no weight limit = big plus. Check-in was easy. The front desk was nice, and he put us on the third floor so the outdoor terrace would be convenient for our dog. There was also a cocktail wine hour at the lobby, so we... Read more

We stayed in a Park Suite during our recent visit to San Francisco. We were travelling with our 2 sons (4 and 6 yo). I called around a number of hotels in the city looking for either adjoining rooms or a suite. None of the brand name hotels I spoke with had suites or would guarantee adjoining rooms. Thankfully we found the Galleria Park. It was absolutely perfect for us - the suite includes a large bed room room with separate living room with fold out bed for the children. Great location. After a nine hour delay and a seven hour flight, I arrived at the hotel at 2am. I called ahead to advise I would be arriving late. There was nobody at the front desk to check me in and when I found the security person they called him and he said he would be there in a while. There was no back up to this one person and he took his time to come check me in. I then got to my room and it wasn't the category I reserved and paid for. I called to change rooms, was put on hold and then finally tol... Read more

This hotel is steps away from Union Square, shops and restaurants. The first impression in the lobby is one of elegance. Friendly staff and nicely decorated rooms. I took an inside room for a quieter stay, and it had one window facing a narrow interior section of the hotel. Nothing to look at, but definitely quieter than a city street. The bathroom was very modern and up-to-date with nice toiletries. The room was also nicely decorated and just right for two people. There is a wine bar rig... Read more
