I booked this room because a friend recommended it. The room is average, nothing special. It looks better in the pictures of course. To me it looks like it as a motel 6 that was upgraded. The toilet makes a very loud noise each time someone in the area makes a flush, so each time I woke up. Didn't have a good night sleep because of this. Overall this hotel isn't my favorite. I wouldn't stay here again. The workers are super friendly and sweet though, the main lobby loooks very nice, but once you... Read more

We were in town for a getaway, and we booked a hotel room for two nights. The location seemed good--Little Italy--and since we had not stayed near the downtown ever, we decided to give it a try. The immediate area around the hotel was undergoing construction, so parking on the street was limited--btw the hotel has valet parking for a fee, but when in and out it can be faster to just park outside. The staff at the front desk was very attentive and prompt to check us in. The lobby was clean an... Read more

I recently stayed at the Porto Vista as part of a business trip. A whole group of us had booked into the hotel. We immediately found that the hotel in no way resembled the photos and every single member of the group had a terrible experience. Below is a summary of the issues we experienced: - Very few power sockets - since we were here for work - all of the rooms only had one outlet right in the corner of the room making charges devices - such as laptops - and making any attempt to work in the ... The staff were very helpful. They would not hesitate to suggest different forms of travel and places to see, even though I was there on business. The Courtesy shuttle bus was great as it took me to all the locations I needed.

-Room was dirty upon check in. There was a sticky candy like substance on the floor in front of the sink & on the desk. -Each time the room next door flushed their toilet, you could hear a loud sound for 20 seconds -The hotel provided good shuttle service to the convention center & airport -25 minute walk to the convention center

The hotel is nice and the room was clean. Randall helped us out at the front desk with check in. He was fast, friendly, and extremely helpful! The hotel is close to downtown, and there are a lot of food places, bars/breweries close by. You don't have to pay for parking. You can find street parking for free if you don't mind driving around a few times.

Nice clean room with comfortable bed. Internet with no problems connecting. Some noise but not overly so. Good hot, hearty breakfast included with the room. Bathroom lacked a shelf to set toiletries but adequate.

Had a good stay here, the view from the Glass Door restaurant / bar was good. The room was comfortable but I would suggest having more counter space in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, location convenient to walk around Little Italy.

Near from everythig: Port, restautantst, airport.. The Internet connection is good and you do not need a car for visiting SDC if you select this hotel, no matter where you go, because you are so close to the public transport. 5 minutes walking to America´s Plaza station, 10 munutes to Santa Fe depot and 3-4 minutes to the Little Italy trolley station.
