The staff was very attentive and quick to help me with whatever needs I had. I had a 2 day meeting in the ballroom this week and I would like to give a special thanks to Manu and Meryshel. I had a lot of last minute changes to the event and they were so willing to adapt to whatever changes came their way. I really appreciate this and i'm looking forward to booking another event at the Courtyard Cal Expo.

We arrived very late because of trying to deal with our lost luggage at the airport. Check in was easy. When we shared our experience with "Carrie" she immediately left returning with a goodie bag of things we might need; combs, razors, facial cleansing soap etc. I told her my phone charger was in my suitcase and she immediately went to find me a charger. When the first one did not work, she found one that did. (I left it in my room for another traveler.) She was great! the desk had our luggage f... Read more

One of the nicer Courtyards in the Marriott inventory; decent bistro/coffer/bar area. The work out room, for the size of this hotel was a bit small. I strongly recommend you use the workout facilities early, 5:30 AM or earlier. The place was packed when I used it around 7AM. The room was very large, again, a single traveler and yet they still gave me a double queen - no offer for an upgrade to king. No complaints on the comfortable bed, but a king would have been nice. I had to turn the A/... Read more

I think my bed is comfortable. I would stay here again. Cute kitchen with a coffee maker. Considering they didn't have my reservations, but they still took care of me. Commentary breakfast. Exercise room and a outdoor pool.

I was in town for business with 3 other colleagues, all staying at this hotel. Before we even got to the hotel, some of our plans changed due to the cancellation of half of our meetings. The front desk staff was especially helpful in adjusting our reservations. I was especially impressed with Alondra, who had not even started her shift yet, but heard our commotion and panic...Not just about our reservations, but, about the whole change of itinerary. While there were only 2 terminals available, A... Read more

Hotel is very clean, great layout. Room was on the 3rd floor and very roomy. High ceilings, two queen beds, nice and clean bathroom and good work area. Bistro and bar in the hotel along with a small convenient store with microwave. Bistro serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has Starbucks coffee. Did have an issue at check in. Company check was never added to the room and was sitting on a desk in the back. Had to pay out of pocket for 1 night until the General manager came in the next day.

Totally enjoyed my stay here, slept so well the first night we missed breakfest. We didnt miss breakfest the next day and the awesome staff that kept the area clean. Great water pressure and hot water the whole time, some hotels don't have that always. It was located to all the places we needed to go, including the mall for many trips just to hang out and buy gifts. Will pick this one again if im in Sacramento. Thanks for a great stay.. #kermitslife

I was having a bit of trouble finding a hotel in the area. Many cost more than I wanted to pay, and even some of the better hotels weren't in locations I trusted. Courtyard Sacramento Cal Expo is an older hotel, but don't let that deter you. The price was reasonable, the room was clean and serviceable, and most importantly, the area felt safe.

We booked this hotel on expedia for two nights because of its location to the cal expo for a work position. She was due to arrive late by plane and expedia suggested calling the hotel. I called the Courtyard Marriott and checked the reservation there and explained that my wife would be arriving late approximately 1-2 am. She arrived at 1:30 am and was told that the hotel was overbooked and they did not have a room for her. They said they commonly overbook because of no shows. They called a near... Read more

This is a well-run, well-managed property. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was immaculately clean. But the walls are paper thin, and the noise from next door and up above was ridiculous. The noise was terrible when we were trying to get some sleep. Plus the price -- we paid over $200 a night for a room that should have cost half that much. Again, this is a nice hotel, with a good, professional staff...and a very useful shuttle service. But $200/night... Read more
