We booked a fireplace suite for our two night stay last week. The room was well appointed and spacious; a great value. The fireplace control and shower setup were ridiculously complicated, even for us mechanically inclined people. The bed seemed like it was an old mattress with a new overlay on it didn't effect our sleep. The bathroom had heated floor and toilet seat which was nice when it was 6 degrees out at night. The kitchenette was perfect and extremely well appointed with utensils, po... Read more

This hotel was great. The lobby is nice and has a huge fireplace area that is comfortable and a nice place to hang out. Plus a pool table and coffee and hot chocolate and a bar. The outdoor hot tub hit the spot after skiing. The rooms had everything we needed. And the staff was friendly. Very good value for the price--especially for the unrenovated lodge rooms. There is also a good restaurant on the property called Rafters that we ate at several times during our 2 night stay.

The room was spacy. The amenities in the hotel are awesome. There is a large Jacuzzi outside in the snow that was very hot and fun. Once you check in you get two free drinks to use at the hotel bar or neigboring restaurants. There is a big fire to sit by and dry out clothing that got wet. There is a ski/board rental shop in place and a pool table. Staff is really friendly and helpful and located is centered and close to transportation.! Thank You

A good value for money. Rooms are space, service is good. They had issues cleaning icy doorways and the parking lot. They were slippery, to say the least. The chalet spirit is nice, but halls are a little shabby and hallways are noisy. Overall, I would call it a decent choice.

Booked 3 nights online. Couple things to watch out for: 1) One week cancellation policy 2) In the fine print of the reservation, they mention the rate does not include taxes, resort fees, etc.. but they don't make mention of what the resort fees are so I didn't really pay much attention. Only til I checked out did I realize the resort fee is $28.50!! I've stayed in some high-end resorts that didn't even charge this much! This is a 3-star property with very basic amenities. Probably won't g... Read more

I've been going to Mammoth for 30+ years and have always stayed in condos. We found SNR by luck. What a find. The resort is vintage ski chalet, with a big fireplace in the lobby along with its own bar-Duke's. The rooms are nice with updated bathrooms. For skiers the bonus is the shuttle van that will run you up to the lifts. There are three restaurants on the property and many more within a few blocks. We parked our car on Friday and didn't get back in it until Tuesday. The staff is very helpful... Read more

I want to send a big thank you to the SNR staff for their service and hospitality this past week!! We arrived on Friday the 6th to stay just two nights from San Diego. Of course the flights were cancelled for us to leave on Sunday. With our bags packed and ready to go home, didn't know what we were gonna do. The staff immediately got us a new room to stay in, which was so beautiful. King bed with super soft linens and pillowtop mattress. They made everything stress free for us. Ended up b... Read more

My girlfriend and I booked a room with 2 queen beds. Instead of honoring this reservation, they put us in a lockout room of one of their chalet units, which is separate from the main building and had 2 full beds instead. When I complained to the front desk, they told me that the hotel was sold out and that if I called the next week someone would be able to "make this right". At this point I have spoken to 2 people at the front desk, 1 person in accounting, and left a message for the General M... Read more

As noted in other reviews, the weather this time of the year can be unpredictable, however, what is predictable is the service and hospitality we received once we arrived at SNR. Seamless check-in with our rooms available much earlier then the standard 4pm check-in... Surprisingly, the pit stops were few and we made good time from Los Angeles. Typically, we call and request additional towels during our stay, but not at SNR. Mainly because they don't cut-corners by providing two of each towel.... Read more
