Hello my name is Tina and I am a bartender and store owner on Etsy and Ebay. I live in San Diego, California, born and raised. Currently I live with my mom in her La Jolla home because my father past away in 2009 and she needs me around. But because I am 26 years old privacy does become an issue. So I have been no stranger to the local hotel scene. I usually end up renting a room on average two days out of the week. Recently I found a great price on for a little place named The L... Read more

Rooms are dirty, management is shady. I will not stay there again. Without the location this place isn't even a Motel 6. There are much nicer places in the same area that are cleaner and nicer; with professional owners who take pride in their properties

Rooms are small shabby and doors are right on the street. Kids had a room next to us and they were having a party. Several people accidentally knocked on our door thinking we were the party room. Very dangerous. When we went to complain to the front desk there was nobody there and when we finally found someone she was one of the kids from the room next door. One of the party kids worked at this toilet!!! We are never coming back.

This place is a dump and is run by thieves. Please avoid if possible. It is a nice location but the rest is horrible. Management are a bunch of thieves and they do not seem to care. STAY AWAY if you know what is good for you.

I booked blind on Priceline (which I will not do again) for a 3 star hotel in La Jolla. I arrived at the hotel (conveniently located, for sure) and when I arrived, I was told by the woman a the desk that I had the "most basic" room and would I like to upgrade to a bigger room with an ocean view for $50. I refused, as I was only staying one night and would not be there very much. All was fine until I went upstairs and went into the room. Room 23, btw. Immediately greeted with a dark room, ... Where do I start? It is an absolute ghetto motel. The a/c didn't work, it was insanely loud with street noise- of course you couldn't close the windows because it was sweltering. The neighbors were doing drugs. The Internet didn't work AT ALL. There was excrement on the toilet that I had to clean myself in order to use it. My favorite part was that there were bars on SOME of the windows. Some- not all. If the neighborhood is bad enough to warrant bars on the window (and it is) then can I have th... Read more

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. We had to pay $20.00 per day to park two blocks from the hotel. The rooms are very small and dated. The first night our air conditioning did not work. We raised the issue to the staff and they offered us another room. Picked up and moved our belongings the the new room. Phone was just lying on the floor and was not hooked up. The loss to the sliding door to the small balcony was broken (same as first room). Woke up on our last ... Read more

We're on a 2 week road trip and this is the second most expensive place we've stayed, yet the worst for service and experience. ‚?Ę No help unloading luggage or offer of taking it to our room. ‚?ʬ†Were given a key to "our room", only to open the door and find someone else in there. ‚?Ę Given a blow up bed in a bag as the 'bed' for our son, and we were expected to blow it up ourselves. No offer of bed linen until we asked (then what we did receive was threadbare). Room was so small there was n... Read more

Well my husband and I stayed here for one night, we had a room with a balcony, that was nice. This place use to be apts so kind of set of weird. Room was ok had a frig. and small kitchen area, we upgraded our room when we got there the front desk asked if we wanted to for an extra $20.00. I would ask what your options are because the room we had reserved was so SMALL. They have a deck located at the top of the building not to exciting, a couple of chairs and table, I thinks if they spent some mo... Read more

Other than the location my stay at the La Jolla Inn was extremely disappointing. TV didn't work (cable was out), light on end table was not working and to top it off there was NO hot water for a morning shower. Customer service has been terrible!!!
