The Sheraton name has really become the middle to low end of their brand. It is more of a Comfort Inn with a low end face lift. Much better options for business travelers like me. The upkeep was poor, the service was exceptionally poor. On a cold Tucson night when my heat didn't work I was offered a space heater because They couldn't find the maintenance person for almost $175 a night are you kidding me!

I will never send a platinum SPG guest to a a room within a construction area, even thought there was not noise, there was a lot of dust every where Hot water in the shower didn't work, neither wifi, I asked to be fixed and they didn't It has been a very bad experience to shower with cold water in a very cold weather

Wife and were put in what the receptionist called "newly renovated room" If that was newly renovated, I'd hate to see what the non-renovated rooms look like! Washroom, for example, had new floor tiles as well as tiles around the shower (including the floor). Yet, the ceiling vent looked better part of 50 years old (rust around its edges) and the hole in which the grilles was inserted was badly cut and too big. Glass shower partition was far too narrow allowing water to spray out and onto the flo... Read more

I got this hotel via Priceline. I was given one of the renovated rooms. About 1/3 of the property is undergoing active renovation with workmen busy during the daytime. I joined SPG some time prior to this booking and made sure to double-check and confirm the membership so I could get points on this trip. Contacted the property. If you book on Priceline your trip is not eligible for SPG points except for food. I arrived close to 12 noon on day of arrival and probably because I asked in advance,... Read more

We had a day off in Tucson and were put up at the Sheraton. Getting to the rooms was a bit of an adventure. We had to walk by a whole section of vacant/under construction rooms. It was weird as there was a lot of construction debris and dust everywhere. There wasn't a whole lot of effort put into hiding the construction. Sort of a bummer first impression. Walking down our hallway was a bit of a disappointment as well. All of the baseboards were missing and the whole area was in a state o... Read more

On this business trip I was curious to try out some SPG properties, and since my experience at the Four Points was so horrific I refused to even stay the night, I thought I'd give the Sheraton a try. When I arrived the clerk had an annoying habit of saying, "And with all that said, welcome home to the Sheraton." Sure, thanks for the corporate faux-me nonsense, but really, I don't need your corporate nonsense inserted into having a normal conversation. The same clerk also told me I had been up... Read more

This is a difficult review to write as you will see at my conclusion. The hotel is undergoing renovation. The pros: Large room. Bed comfortable. Separate sink area from toilet and shower. Lots of outlets and built in USB ports. Free wifi. Lots of amenities. Nice interior courtyard. Okay neighborhood. Cons: Noisy from the hallway and we could hear steps from above. Single sink. It takes forever to get hot water. Towels are clean but a bit dingy. Glacial wifi. Rickety furniture. (Chair... Read more

This hotel is in the process of remodeling so I will overlook some of the deficiencies. Our room was newly completed. It was modern, bright and well lit. The bathroom had excellent lighting, unusual for most hotels, and even had a touch button that lit up the entire mirror. On the negative side, the towels were somewhat dingy and the room has poor sound insulation. The hotel website stated that the room included a hairdryer and refrigerator. Neither was provided. When we inquired, houseke... Read more

Even paying a dirt cheap holiday weekday price, the ongoing construction noise and lackluster resolution still made a pretty negative impression on our stay, despite the recently renovated rooms which were nicely done. Woken up at 7am each day by forklift beeping, no king size beds as booked available, and a dirty overall location/appearance, sidling the nearby medical center and busy roadways. Food was alright for the location, probably the best part of the stay in addition to the comfortably r... Read more

Basically the same as before. I use this hotel because it seems the best for the area of town I need to be in. Bear in mind I've stayed in hotels for 3 nights a week for 30 years so I may be a bit jaded in what I call exceptional. This Sheraton is better than anything near by that I have seen but it is getting a little long in the tooth and needs a rehab (seems there were notices of just that this time in the elevator). Our room was OK except that a wall light by the bed fell off the wall when o... Read more
