Visited during Gem Exhibition, but didn't know. Litter everywhere ! The exhibition completely took over hotel. Outdated hotel, with very frugal ideas. Didn't get daily soap , for instance. Took 2x to call for Maintenance to get message about bathtub problem. Our door wouldn't close all the way unless we Slammed it. Just not what we expected for the price Pool was closed!! No fitness room on premises Ok breakfast , and nice workers. Hotel is in awkward location , with the Gem Exhi... Read more

Apparently there is a "gem show" coming soon and construction workers were putting up many, many tent frames and tents. This required the use of a jackhammer at 645 in the morning. Bad timing I guess, but call and ask first if they are done setting up. Had to drown quite a bit of ants back down the bathroom drain, but I am bigger than them and I killed them all, both mornings. Otherwise, nice place. Friendly staff. OH, check the address. Apparently it changed when the light rail went in a... Read more

This inn is just off I-10, near downtown Tucson. Our room was large with two queen beds, a fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a hairdryer. The wifi worked well--the clerk at the desk said it had just been upgraded. The whole building is gated--one uses one's key to get in. It is built in an open square with the pool, etc. in the middle. At the time, they were putting up temporary buildings for the Tucson Rock Show in Jan.-Feb. It seemed a bit early. The clerk said they had a lot of exhibit... Read more

We stayed here for almost five days. They were sold out but the only time we ever saw anyone was at breakfast. Nice pool area with separate hot tub area. Very convenient location as it's right off the highway and right next to the train.Breakfast is included. Basic with eggs, potatoes, sausage or ham, rolls, and lukewarm coffee. Cereal also is an option. Very affordable.

The room was great, bed very comfortable. Had a microwave and a small refrigerator. Wonderful shower, enormous towels. Had a little trouble with my room keys, turned out it was the battery. All the staff were very helpful. However, the breakfast room was downright cold. Eggs I had were delicious, but I had to eat them quickly, before they got cold. Would have been better off taking my breakfast to my room.

This hotel looks and feels straight out of the 1970's. It comes complete with a Mr. Coffee pot in the room along with an enormous telephone, smallish bathrooms with real tiles in the shower, rooms that overlook an outdoor pool, a series of hotel buildings that are two-story (and, I think, no elevator to take you to the second floor), etc. That all said, the hotel appears to be well-maintained and the service was exemplary. I stayed there for a birding festival which was headquartered at the h... Read more

Arrived at the hotel on May 31st planning on only staying a couple of days while my husband was being treated at Banner UMC. Due to unforeseen medical circumstances I ended up staying 3 weeks. I have never stayed in a hotel for that length of time before. They were absolutely wonderful. The entire staff went out of their way to help me whenever it was required. Having the free breakfast was icing on the cake. Special kudos to CJ and Joe. If I am ever in Tucson again, even for an overnight... Read more

The staff was polite and professional. Court yard was pretty and well maintained. Lobby was beautiful. Room had dirty carpet and only one garbage can which was in the restroom (no garbage container in the room itself). The beds and bedspreads were clean and the room smelled clean. The floor in bathroom had a wad of someone's hair and a dead bug, but other than that looked clean enough. Breakfast had a nice assortment and was good.
