Located in a nice safe area near great restaurants and very close to the 101. No elevators in this 3 story complex. Resort offers 2 pools (one adult only), baggo games, ping pong and plenty of activities available. Walking paths nearby. No onsite restaurants but not necessary with all that is nearby. There is an airstrip nearby so you do hear small jets overhead quite often but it never bothered us that much. There is a view of the mountains in the distance. The 2 bedroom was spacious wit... I do have to admit that I had read A LOT of bad reviews after booking here for our family Christmas vacation from December 22, 2017 - January 5, 2018 so I was bit weary of what we would be walking into. But as always I should learn not to base my own opinions of others reviews. We arrived early hoping our room would be ready but it wasn't so we were able to head out and fill up on our groceries. When we came back our room was ready and the view was to the parking lot but not a huge deal. We w... Read more

We stayed 2 nights this time and the room was very disappointing! The shower/tub was cracked and had mold in the grout. There was a bag of garbage and a bag of dirty linens outside our room when we checked in and even though we told the front desk they were still there when we checked out! The fire pit was broken but the pool was heated and wonderful as was the hot tub.

4 days, 3 nights: premium with timeshare presentation. We stayed in building 7, ground floor one bedroom unit. Smelled musty upon entry. Dirt piled up behind front door. Piece of tile base board off and just lying on the floor. Sheets were actually shredded at the top. The staff took care of our issues with 24 hours. These units appear to be built in the early 90‚??s and are in desperate need of upgrading based on this unit. Also be aware NO ELEVATORS, so 2nd and 3rd floor access is by concr... Read more

I was really disappointed to see this "resort" in real life. Trying to cut costs while in Scottsdale for a super expensive continuing education course, I opted out of the Fairmont Princess or Hyatt Regency to save some cash--but was severely disappointed and immediately regretted my choice upon check in. This used to be a condominium complex, but that failed and became a timeshare property, so BEWARE: they will try their hardest to sell you on one of those "quick tours" to get a "deal" on an upc... This is a timeshare that will sell rooms if not booked up. This was a great deal compared to other hotels in area. Had a one bedroom, full kitchen condo! Place was clean, beds comfortable, pool small but not really crowded, however still kinda off season. Location was close enough to downtown Scottsdale. Would recommend if you're not too picky. It's not 5 stars but really great value , would stay again !

We had a comfortable and well-appointed 3 bedroom suite. The kitchen was quite well-supplied though the knives, not surprisingly, weren‚??t very good. Plenty of room with a spacious living room and dining room. Would do this again.

Before we arrived we were offered to go to an owners update and declined, checked in and was directed to concierge desk, gave good recommendations on restaurants then tried again for the owners update! First room was dirty, hadn‚??t been thoroughly cleaned so we changed rooms; was better than first room but not what we expect from Diamond Resorts. Second night of the stay we get a call after 8pm want us, AGAIN, to go to the owners update!! We‚??ve stayed at half a dozen Diamond Resort properties... Read more

We traded our week at a Mexican time share for a week in Scottsdale. We had stayed at Scottsdale Links about ten years ago. The resort was still pretty well the way we remembered it but a little older. We had a two bedroom unit. The layout was very nice, with lots of room and an amazing amount of closet space. The kitchen was very usable and was reasonably well equiped. The furnishings in the unit were old, "well used", and could definitely use some updating. The bathrooms and bedrooms we... Read more

I love the huge pool and they keep it at the perfect temperature. I love Lyn and her water aerobics class. The downside is the loud drunks around the pool. I have never seen people around the pool drinking before. One group was loud playing their own music. The resort has their own music playing. It was too much. Management walked right by them. We feel this place has really changed
