I had to have a procedure done at a Birmingham Hospital as an outpatient. The stay at the Hampton made it go smoothly. They had the taxi there on time and when I returned they were helpful to my needs.

I have stayed in many Hamptons and this one did not meet my expectations. Was here for a wedding weekend and it was a great location for the activities & convenient to Mountain Brook Village. Room had comfortable beds but was small and crowded for 2 people ... no microwave or frig.... staff and amenities was fine but had trouble with Wi-Fi connection...decor seems dated and dead bolt did not work....found dirty sock tucked back on desk.... breakfast was simple with not much variety as other Ham... I had an appointment at the Kirkland Clinic of UAB and stayed the night here. Very convenient location to UAB hospital. I have stayed here several times and will continue staying here. Clean, quiet, convenient. Good breakfast, cold water bottles, warm cookies!

We had 4 rooms for 2 nights. One of the rooms had an issue with black mold and pests (cockroaches). We were told we would get one night free after my family had to change rooms in the middle of the night. I have yetto hear from them about the credit.

Awful. Dirty rooms. Ceiling was peeling and furniture had holes. Would not recommend. I always stay in Hampton inns but this one was by far the worst one yet. Great location though and staff! Wish I could say that about the rooms

I had a wonderful experience while staying at the Hampton Inn-Mountain Brook! The staff was very welcoming and so helpful that I knew my stay would be great. My room had everything I needed and there was always coffee, hot tea and bottled water available in the lobby. I enjoyed my breakfast the next morning before checking out!

Upon arrival, fans were running in hallway trying to dry out a wet carpet. I should of seen this a sign. Hotel needs new beds and complete renovation. Great location but could not sleep in "taco" matress that sagged in the middle. Better rooms elsewhere over the mountain.

The hotel is showing its age but the staff there is very nice and friendly. Arnold did a great job of assisting me and my wife with issues with the television and the shower. He also apologize for the inconvenience with the construction going on at the hotel.

My husband and I are lovers of the Hampton Inn as a whole - the Hampton Inn franchise should be ashamed that this hotel is in any way associated with their name. Went to check in and noticed there was a ā??cable unavailableā?? notice at the front desk. Being a Thursday nite and football season, I asked Taylor at the front desk if the cable was working now - she had no idea. I asked if she could find out before we checked in so that we could find accommodations elsewhere if it was not working. Iā... Read more
