Point Pleasant is perched on a hillside. You have to drive almost straight up to get to the resort buildings after you turn off the main road. The resort is a series of 3 to 6 unit buildings that begin at the very top of the peak and wind there way down to the shore. The location of your unit will greatly impact your stay. If you are way up on the hill, your view will be spectacular, but you will end up doing quite a bit of walking. Yes the resort offers shuttles, but then you end up wai... Read more

Clean! Great views and service! Worth every penny and then some. So much came with our visit including shuttle rides into Red Hook, Snorkel gear, etc. Saved money by cooking breakfast inside our room every morning. The grocery Delivery service is 100% worth the extra money. Friendly and helpful staff. Not one single bad thing to say about it. We stayed for one week and will return to this resort every future trip.

Me and my best friend stayed 12 nights in Point Pleasant this January and we truly enjoyed it! We stayed in unit D-24 which had an AMAZING view! The unit itself was furnished with all the facilities you may (or may not) need such as a fully equipped (and modern) kitchen, cable TV, plenty of books to read, DVDs, stereo, etc. The resort is located at the east end of the island on a hill which provides a great view over the nearby islands. You see St John, Tortola and Jost van Dyke. Every day ... Read more

I had planned a surprise trip for my husband and booked our rooms and flight via travelocity. When we arrived at the resort to check in they informed us that travelocity had inaccurately booked a reservation at the resort that actually did not have any rooms available, thus we did not have an actual room to stay. Even though it was definately NOT the fault of the resort but rather Travelocity, the staff (Leah and Latina - I think those were their names) notified the manager of the situation and... Read more

Unfortunately none of the reviews I read said that the "mini condos" vary dramatically from one to the other. As it turns out each is owned privately and decorated by the owner. The first unit they put us in had a great view, but it hadn't been updated in 40 years and we actually tripped on the broken tile floor in the living room. The next morning we went to the front desk and when I said we were very disappointed, they said that they knew about the poor condition of the one we were assigned - ... Read more

We booked our 7-day air + hotel package at the last minute in early January, & were very pleased with the entire experience, including the value received. [We've come to the conclusion that the few negative reviews we've read recently likely originated with travelers who may have booked their stay directly through an individual condo owner, rather than the resort itself, or a service like Trip Advisor or Expedia; the Resort sets and maintains higher standards and certain amenities that an indi... We stayed at Point Pleasant Resort from January 20-25, 2017. We booked through the resort directly, and were able to see pictures of our exact room ahead of time. At the time that we booked, there were five rooms available for the dates of our stay, and the quality, condition, décor and price of each varied greatly, so I would highly recommend going to the website of the resort to see which room you are getting ahead of time. We also learned that some of the units are owned by private individ... Read more

Stayed here with my boyfriend, wonderful resort! Excellent service, Daniel was amazing! The resorts bar made great drinks, food was okay, nothing fancy. Lots of walking but it didn't bother us. The shuttle service was really great, always on time and very friendly drivers. We stayed in d14 and the view was great, we have no complaints!

We had such an amazing time last year we came back, and we will be back again I'm certain. Lydia and Danny were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were beautiful and clean. (We stayed in both D32 and E15.) We visited the St John beaches of Cinnamon Cay and Francis Bay. They were both beautiful. The Bad Kitty tour was well worth the price. I was hesitant to go, and I'm so glad we did.

We stayed at Point Pleasant for one week and had a great time. It??s a quaint and quiet resort with more than accommodating staff. The fact that it??s situated higher up in the hills adds to its exclusivity. Our room was very clean with remarkable views. We had a direct view of the sunset every night and the sunrise every morning, not to mention the clear blue skies during the day. I can see how it was rated a romantic resort. We had family that came to visit us for the day during our stay and... Read more
