Unfortunately we left after 30 minuets, it was that bad. Luckily we got our money back! The manager and the lady who contacted us to make our cancellation were good enough. We won‚??t be there again, as expensive as it was without breakfast ¬£57 our view from the room was just empty bottles and cans, cigarettes, our friends room was so disgusting not just on the room, I think they have never cleaned windows. Beds weren‚??t done, pillows didn‚??t have cases, bath and toilet were completely dirty,... Read more

Without doubt "the worst hotel I stayed in for years". For £190 for a small twin room (without breakfast ) I think people deserve more.. The room was so small, the single beds had no gap between them. The bathroom is like the 1970's in size and finish. I understand that its location is very central, but inside in not clean and the surroundings outside rotten dirty. Then there is the bar and restaurant. We never seen one person in the bar on reception level (not even staff). Downstairs must be ... Read more

I was in sachas bar this week as it had their happy hour on and the prices of the drinks were very reasonable but I would be more than happy to pay a little bit more as everyone in that bar was freezing everyone had their coats on including me and my brother I thought when you went out for a drink it was for relaxation and comfort this just is not the case here

Stayed here for a night when I was working away in Manchester as I did not want to commute sheffield to Manchester 2 days in a row. I booked a city room so was aware I would have no window. Warm welcome on front desk. Room clean and tidy with plenty of clean towels basic complementary toiletries. Clean beading plus spare. Good quality TV. And a desk to work at. Comfortable arm chair and desk chair. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. I'm glad there was a bath as they are easier to relax in. Breakfa... Read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here last night just for one night and absolutely loved it. It‚??s a super grand hotel that obviously has just become slightly rundown but it has such cracking character because of this I thought it was beautiful. There is a pool, gym and jacuzzi. Breakfast in the morning and a bar/ restaurant area. The room was really large for what we paid and everything was clean and provided. We requested a window room, I think as it‚??s such a large hotel there‚??s a quantity for a... Read more

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for our anniversary celebrations. We arrived to find more dust in the room than a full up hoover, a set of used fake eye lashes behind the smashed lamp. The room had no window to which we had no idea we had to request a window? And the room was incredible hot, it was like being in a coffin. Having to fork out for WiFi was a joke but then also having to pay to use the swimming pool (the only positive about the hotel) was not what we had expected after havin... Read more

Great hotel. All the staff, from the guys and girls at reception, to the lady in the breakfast hall to the cleaners, were polite and friendly. My wife and I were here for a short break, 3 nights, and totally enjoyed our stay. All you can eat, help yourself buffet breakfast included full English or continental with tea, coffee, fruit juice, cereal. No complaints there. Food was hot and tasty. Our room was a bit more spacious than the usual at this sort of price, it didn't feel cramped at all, no... Read more

Arrived to a sweltering room with no working AC. Changed rooms and had no towels, was told that they don‚??t have any and that we won‚??t be getting towels. Room had missing lights, very old style and bits of shower stand were missing. Carpet was stuck down with tape. Tv was tiny and reception was poor, kept freezing. Loads of bits were broken or poorly fixed. I‚??ve attached some pics - Room 325 Asked to speak to the manager however he was dealing with an aggressive guest. Security was involv... Read more

Won‚??t be staying here again, staff are very friendly but wasn‚??t impressed on not having a light in the room only a lamp, alarm going off outside the room in the hotel and wasn‚??t turned off for over an hour when trying to sleep, fire alarm also went off for ten minutes, shower was awful, bed was hard not comfy to sleep on.
