My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights recently, good location for exploring London. Our room was a nice size, bed was comfortable and my pet hate the bathroom was well appointed and I can find no fault. Breakfast in the basement was good, has to be one of the best Best Western breakfasts in london we have had. Faults the fruit salad was out of a tin, if you want decaf coffee you get lumbered with instant, the apple juice tasted watered down, however if you want freshly squeezed orange juice you... Stopped for 2 nights while up in London just 2 minutes away from Hyde park. Around the corner is Paddington underground and station on a 5-10 minute walk. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms aren't huge but were adequate for 2 people and have lovely walk in showers in the bathroom. Even though we only slept in the rooms the TV only seemed to only be able to get one channel. There's a lovely reception and bar area in the hotel. When booking try the main site we managed... My daughter booked this hotel for us after checking on trip advisor and it did not disappoint. The room was small but nicely decorated and a great shower. Breakfast was included and had a good choice. The location is very close to Hyde Park and about 20-30 minutes walk to attractions which suited us as we don't mind walking through the park. Be aware that the Lancaster Gate tube - 100mtrs away is closed until July. Would we stay again? Yes!

The Mornington is a discrete hotel in a quiet location in Lancaster Gate very close to Hyde Park. The hotel looks recently refurbished and the room was clean. The shower room was modern and clean. Reception staff were not over friendly and the hotel experience was ok, but the bedding wasn't great and I was kept awake all night by the noise of plumbing somewhere in the hotel. I always take earplugs which helped, but I still didn't get a great night's sleep. Breaskfast was included in our price an... Read more

Stayed at the Mornington Hotel for a girls' night out in London. We were met with surly disinterest on arrival never a great start. Our room was ok, nothing more than average, the bathroom was tiny but it was clean enough. Unfortunately our room looked out on to the rear of the hotel where all the air conditioning vents were located. The pipes hummed and whirred all night long. Fortunately we had bought ear plugs. We would recommend anyone staying here did the same! Breakfast was ok..staff w... Read more

Was pleasantly surprised as some of the Best Western Central London locations have been a disappointment, but although the outside looked in need of some restoration, internally everything was spotless. The staff were extremely helpful and the room was of a high standard with an en-suite shower room. Bookings include a full English breakfast served in a separate Breakfast room, which surpassed my expectations. The Hotel has a 24 hr Bar in its Library room and although if does not have a full Din... Read more

I booked this hotel for a two day visit to London, as I'd never been before. Me and my partner looked around at a few hotels but decided to go with this one as we usually use Best Western hotels and of course due to all the good reviews - as I do use trip adviser before booking any hotel. The room was really lovely, great layout and had all the facilities we needed for our stay. When we arrived we were greeted by a very delightful lady on reception who helped us a lot and gave us directions to t... Read more

Booked two rooms to enable to stay in London after meeting my son from Heathrow. I contacted the hotel and asked for a cot to be provided as my son was travelling with his infant son and was assured this would not be a problem! The hotel was easy to find using my gps and due to restricted parking facilities I was directed to an off site parking facility approx 10 - 15 mins away after dropping our bags off. The room for my wife and I was small but adequate, clean and seemingly recently refurbishe... Read more

The hotel location is great; near Hyde Park, transit and restaurants. The lobby bar is open 24 hours and is housed in a quaint little library. The staff is helpful. Our room was okay. The hair dryer must be used at the armoire in the bedroom, which is a bit odd. There is also a lip a couple of inches high that needs to be stepped over to access the bathroom. I felt that it could be a tripping hazard. No extras like a kettle or water provided.

As the title says, really can't fault this hotel based on the stay my partner and I had. The room was nice and clean, not huge but a reasonable size, and the bathroom was very nice. Breakfast the following morning was good - the main thing I was impressed with was that hot food was being replenished even close to end of breakfast time, whereas other hotels stop replenishing the food which is frustrating if one wants a lye in or a slightly later breakfast. All in all, great location, good room, ... Read more
