We had a double room at a size of a mini single room and a shower cabin so small that you could hardly get in and out of it. Our stay was no pleasure. The breakfast cost Pounds 9 so we found a restaurant accross the street that served English Breakfast for only Pounds 6.

Fab hotel to stay at. Right beside the underground station. The rooms were very good and very clean exactly what you need in a city. Staff of hotel were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Very very friendly. Over all a enjoyable trip

Looked ok at front and reception. Quality Stopped there. Double room was miniscule ... very small wardrobe. One tiny bedside cabinet & No room for dressing table or anywhere to put your personal effects or your case. Case ended up on floor as trip hazard next to bed. Tiny dark shower room .... Shower had black mildew around edges ... had to clean it as best I could before I showered. Staff were ok, but I was astonished that as a resident I could not get a beer in the bar at 10.14 pm on a Sunda... Read more

Very good location for what I needed. Staff were very pleasant and seemed to know what they were about. Had a double room which was big enough for me but I think two people in there for any length of time would struggle not to be in each others way. Double Bed was two singles joined but which didn't stay joined. It was sometimes noisy too - staff mainly! Value for what I paid and I would stay again but maybe just a little more attention to small details needed

More like a hostel once you get past reception. No aircon my room was 35 degrees plus. No sleep unfortunately . Nice location but would have rather slept on the street as much cooler even in autumn, hate to think how hot in mid summer. Next time will pay an extra 20 quid to stay in better hotel.

We're just overnighting with an early flight from Heathrow and the location is great. We're close to some good independent ale pubs and good places for diner. Hyde Park is just down the road which gave us a chance to excerise. Beware if you have large suitcases as even with lifts there are stairs to manoeuvre.

Only thing good about the place is location to underground and trains. Room was very warm and only a little fan to get to sleep. Furniture and bedding very dated as is mattress. Floor is grubby and doesn't look like it was washed in a long time. People working in reception should not be there, they have bad manners and not very people friendly.when we arrived with tired kids and two people working in reception it took almost ten minutes for one of them to ask me what I was doing there, when I sa... Were there for a concert in Hyde Park , about a 15 minute walk so ideal location. Top floor room so good view of city, didn't try food as room only. Stayed 2 night was quiet although next to busy main road, was very clean accommodation. On checking out day there was no hot water, which was annoying but was refunded £40 for the inconvenience caused.

An appalling hotel! We stayed here for one night so we could enjoy winter wonderland during the Christmas period. Whist out for the day our hotel room had our cosmetic stolen. They took over £300 worth of make-up and perfume between the three of us. Hotel staff said they couldn't check anything until morning so we rang police and due to them not having CCTV said they couldn't help unfortunately. They suggested talking to the manager about compensation. However the manager is now refusing to ans... Read more

Me and my partner stayed here for a Weekend Break. Our room was in the basement which seemed far from anything. It was so hot to. The room was really spacious and the bed was lovely the only problem we really had with the room was the bathroom, the toilet was squeezed in next to the shower and we had to litterally turn slightly sideways to get passed the toilet paper holder to get to the toilet as it was such a small space.
