Stayed here for one night as we were attending an event in the function suite. The room was a little tired but clean. The whole hotel looks like it could do with updating. It was fine for one night. Tea & Coffee making facilities in room, Flat screen TV, bedding was clean, furniture was a little tatty. Staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast was a little too early for me on a Saturday after drinking the evening 6 before. 7am to 9pm. There was a surge of people rushing in at the last moment fo... Read more

We stayed here with our 4 month old baby for a family wedding having booked 2 nights for £140. Reception area is nice but very deceiving as the rest of the hotel is a letdown. We stayed in room 103 not a bad size but so old and dated. Bed so hard it was the worst nights sleep I've had in a long time, room was freezing the second night no heating on when we woke up the baby's hands were like ice. Very dated furniture, loose floor tile in the bathroom the whole place just felt dirty. Carpets in ... Read more

I stayed here a few times on business and enjoyed my stay. The staff were very welcoming and always helpful especially the ladies in the bar. The rooms are good and well maintained, the food menu is a bit basic but cheap and well cooked. There is plenty of parking and easy to get buses or taxi to city centre. The bar is ok but the staff are nice. Overall its a good place to stay if visiting Liverpool for a weekend away or football or on business. They don't open the restaurant on Sunday nights ... I attended this venue twice over the Xmas period, both visits was the all inclusive bar and Chinese food buffet. I cannot rave about this place enough - everything was perfect: The venue: decorated beautifully, each table set up to accommodate the number of people in the group (so no sharing of tables). Drinks: on arrival its cocktail hour with plenty of cocktails on tables scattered around the room, plenty of choice and you could drink as many as u wished. At 8pm the all inclusive bar opens... Had Christmas Day dinner in the marquee, totally enjoyable day. Well organized and special for the children, greeted by santa and a disco later on. Food was excellent with the meats especially nice. The atmosphere was fantastic and very friendly, the staff were brilliant, friendly with every table and service was faultless on what was along day for them. Sleep rating only nominal as we were a day visit
