This hotel really needs to sort out the huge problem it has with the parking fines being generated. We were a large party of around twenty people who attended a Christmas party in December. So far, three of our party have received a parking fine in the post, the wording of which is quite threatening. We have all now contacted the hotel who have said they will have the fines quashed and the staff have been very helpful concerning this. We are all waiting to see if we have any further correspo... the hotel was fine , the swimming pool seemed to be in a different area which we did not find , a shame as this was why we booked the hotel be aware we got a parking fine from parking eye for parking overnight while we stayed has taken three emails and a letter to parking eye and still not resolved paid extra for breakfast which was very bland and fatty bacon , most items had run out and had to wait for restock ,not worth the additional cost

Our second stay at this hotel steeped in history with some nice art deco designs, the staff are really fantastic and its highly recommended. However we stopped for two nights and the in room tea and coffe facilities are a bit odd, we had a morning coffee, left to see Liverpool, but on our return, the cups had been rinsed under the tap and replaced on the tray with coffee residue still in the bottom of both cups.

I stay here on a regular basis for business, it's a very clean comfortable hotel that serves a great breakfast. Rooms and clean and spacious. Good parking and free use of the David Lloyd leisure club next door.

Attended a family wedding here. We were initially given a single room, having booked a double but when it was drawn to the attention of the check in desk staff, they quickly upgraded us to a very nice double room. I love the Art Deco style of the hotel. The food we had at the wedding was good, breakfast the following morning was very good, although the restaurant seemed a bit chaotic and slightly unorganised. The prices for drinks is ridiculously expensive and makes London prices seem reasonab... Read more

The hotel was lovely and clean, we stayed with a coach trip for one night and had an evening meal included. All the food was delicious and the breakfast the next morning was nice. It was January but the hotel was cold you needed a coat to sit in the bar. That was my only negative point . The rooms were fine with lovely comfy beds and pillows.

This lovely, Art Deco building is comfortably appointed and has excellent, friendly staff. The food is good, if a little on the pricey side. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and there is a pleasant bar and lounge area. Also, several function and meeting rooms. Guests are always made very welcome and the atmosphere is informal, yet efficient.

A pretty sure good hotel for a short stay. All facilities good and breakfast of decent quality (check if pre paid or not). Only negative is the limited tv channels and a shower that is affected by water pressure (may make you jump around a bit if someone opens a tap in a linked room!).

A great location for business and the airport Hotel itself is stunning and very art deco. Room was large comfortable and quiet Bed was soft and provided a great nights sleep -aided by a pack on the bedside table tat you can spray on the pillow to ease sleep. Food was very tasty - had chicken pie that we rammed Full of meat. Overall a good quality hotel that I will be using in the future

We booked here the night before our flight to the Canaries. It is a lovely building if you appreciate Art Deco. The pro's are; it wasn't expensive for a night, the rooms are comfortable enough, the bar is decent, the bar food is ok, the bar staff are friendly and you have use of the David Lloyd Health Club a few minutes walk away. It is also accessible for wheelchairs and buggies. The cons were; not a great welcome from reception (dour), the room had an interesting odour - not fresh smelling ... Read more
