The least you should expect for the price is hot water. That aside the hotel was okay and the staff were friendly. Some of the TV channels had no volume which I only reported to reception on departure.

Not at all what I expected from a Hilton. Run down, aging furniture. Stained carpets. The most ancient TV I've seen in a long time! Felt like id gone back in time! Oh and the top it off the shower wasn't working properly..hot..cold..boiling..cold..never again!

Quick & easy check-in upon arrival, staff were pleasant & friendly. The room was large, it had all the expected amenities including a desk, sofa, tea & coffee making facilities etc. The bed was comfortable. Restaurant was brilliant for both breakfast and evening meal. Would recommend.

Stayed here for one night recently. This Hilton was such a disappointment. I have stayed in many excellent Hilton hotels in the UK, but this one was certainly not up to scratch. The brown sofa in the room had horrible disgusting marks on it, and it had a tatty throw over it to try and hide it. The carpet in my room had stains and generally shabby looking. Wifi was absolute crap, couldn't use my device at all and when I asked reception they said I would have to phone BT which was not at all helpf... Read more

Appalling customer service by two members of staff Clare - Restaurant Supervisor and Suzanne - Duty Manager, we were refused entry to breakfasts restaurant because my 4 year old wearing her sleeping gown and slippers. I was shocked to she Hilton had such people employed who were so rude, judgemental and had no customer service or any manner in taking to people. What are these people doing in the hospitality industry. My 4 year old was in tears because of the rude behaviour from Clare. Definitely... Read more

I travel a huge amount, working for a large charity where expenses such as hotels are (quite rightly) on a tight budget. For this particular trip, I found myself in desperate need of a hotel in Leicester last minute. Unfortunately nearly everywhere had sold out, apart from the Hilton which is by no stretch a budget choice. After checking in, I made my way up to my room and tried to access their wifi. Having struggled to find the code - usually on the key card - I called reception, where I was a... Read more

Room was lovely, modern and clean, gym was great for a hotel, staff were truly fantastic, really made our trip. Car park a little pricey for a weekend stay at £6 a day, and pool was a little crowded with children taking swimming lessons but all in all we had a great time

Really good value for family stay. Pleasant staff. Children enjoyed it. Had a dinner and breakfast deal and children used the pool. All in all perfect for a family stopover. Room had good facilities and good size but slightly worn.

It cost £6 to park my car in the hotel car park.....where am I supposed to park? There is no off street parking available near the hotel, so it is the only place to park. Alarm clock supplied by hotel not working.

Entrance area fine, and reception staff were very good with us. Room was less than brilliant: cold on arrival and having been out for dinner we only realised later that the (electric convector) heating was inoperative. And we didn't feel like changing rooms at midnight, so a cold night. Ground floor room on road side (as opposed to car park side) was very noisy: this is not the M1, just a local road. So noisy that I thought the window must be open - but it wasn't. This was when I discovered... Read more
