Booked for one night. Upon check in was informed we had been upgraded to a king premium which was nice. Room very large and simply decorated. All staff at the hotel were very pleasant, saying hello etc. Had drinks in the bar which were nice. Used the pool which was good. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of options. Parking was £20 payable at check out for 24 hours. Great stay.

If you are staying in Brighton then the Hilton Brighton Metropole is a good choice, it is located on the seafront with great view of the sea and the old pier. They have an underground parking and if you come by train then it is only a 15 minute walk straight down towards the sea. The restaurants and bars are good, but if you fancy something different there is plenty of options close to the hotel. The hotel has a decent size pool and the gym has a good selection of machines and equipment. The roo... Read more

Where do I even begin with this hotel. I knew already it had a low rating - I wasn't expecting much. It began with the booking (1 night). I booked the 'bed + breakfast' special on their website and added a comment for somebody to call me if a 'newly refurbished' room wasn't available. I then called a week before my stay, where a lady confirmed that I was staying in one of their new rooms. On arrival, they told me I had not booked breakfast and had to pay £25 extra (that was a low price on a... Read more

Stayed here with my wife last Saturday. We arrived early so our room wasn't ready but we were able to leave our things whilst we went in to Brighton. A few hours later we returned and the check in was very busy but the same member of staff was still there and remembered our name, which was a good touch. In fact, all members of staff proved to be very friendly, courteous and professional throughout our stay. Our room (375) was massive, and has clearly been refurbished recently. Only downside was ... Lovely staff, good quality food and very clean and comfortable room. A visit to The Lanes is a must, interesting shops. Enjoyed a drink in The Queensbury pub and chatted to other customers. A lovely walk along seafront.

Second stay in two weeks. Service was generally decent the first time although the room was absolutely filthy. This time the service was pretty appalling. Paid for a King Guest Room (the best kind of room the hotel offers). This time, however, things went rather south from the moment we stepped inside the hotel, as upon check-in - despite it being 5pm - I was told that the room wasn't ready due to carpet cleaning. I was given a voucher for a free drink at the bar while I waited 30/40 minutes for... Read more

Friendly staff, good food, good room. Excellent location ! Late room availability strictly 3pm ! Bar food is excellent, Afternoon Tea is delightful, very fresh and staff attentive. Relaxing experience after a spa treatment at Schmoo. Beautiful seafront position and 5 min walk to centre of Brighton. Almost facing the i360...newest tourist attraction and a "must visit" Breakfast first class, quality and Chef & all staff friendly and nothing too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again, but w... Read more

All the staff that I encountered at the hotel were fantastic and both check in and out were both quick and easy. The highlight for me (including being able to park at the hotel) was breakfast. There was so much to choose from with even an omelette station preparing fresh made to order omelettes each day which were delicious! Another highlight was the view of the sea over breakfast, simply stunning. The only downside was that the room was a little noisy from what sounded like an air-conditio... Read more

Just had another stay at this hotel. Although I messed up with the online booking it was all sorted out by the time we arrived and we managed to get the room we wanted and had stayed in on previous occasions, thanks. A little disappointed that the restaurant was not open for dinner but still managed to have a good meal in the Waterhouse Bar. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Altogether another very enjoyable stay.

Great hotel in a fabulous location near the British Airways I360 and a short walk from The Lanes and The Pier. Attentive staff, good facilities including pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and a delicious breakfast.
