Really good hotel. Very new and fresh look and feel Quite open plan when you arrive, car park is complimentary Reception staff excellent, rooms very spacious and comfortable Executive lounge very good, shame it is only 6pm-8pm though. Starbucks coffee shop on level 1. Restaurant here excellent for breakfast, chef on hand making eggs to order. Also pancakes and waffles!! Lunch and dinner service very good too Overall an excellent experience

This hotel does not have visible and active management present. The result is poor customer service from staff. The hotel caters for the conference and football community and not the family or single person on a business trip. On paper (website) it looks good architecturally design wise and this is where good stops. The actual building is a cold, sterile building that is more like a hospital and airport building...this is not small and intimate but rather LOUD and not proud. Room noise and passa... Read more

The hotel and grounds are amazing, beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Hotel service was good, staff very professional. Hotel itself is in an isolated location, spa service and staff were very pleasant. A bit on the expensive side considering you can fly out to Europe and enjoy better weather for the same and the same price for one nights stay!

Having stayed here before on business and enjoyed the experience I booked to stay again with high expectations The rooms ( I had to be moved) were so noisy from ineffective air-conditioning units it was unbearable and the staff couldn't fix it either As a light sleeper I managed just 2 or 3 hours a night even with ear plug... so I checked out earlier than planned The pool and gym facilities are first class but the rest let it down so much I will not be staying again and this bad experience has p... Was here for a works Christmas party. Hotel was easy to find however signs to the car park could be clearer as they were not easy to make out in the dark. Reception staff polite and efficient and checked in straight away. Room was one of the furthest away with a view of one of the pitches. Room was clean and well laid out with the usual extra's (coffee making facilities, shampoo etc). Had a slight issue in that the lock on the bathroom door was broken so the door wouldn't stay closed. Bed was co... Read more

Great hotel with good amenities. Pleasant atmosphere and good bar and food. Good free car parking available. Quiet location away from the town centre. About 5 miles from town. Rooms are of an excellent standard and bathrooms are extremely clean and well-appointed.

I stay at this hotel around 4-7 nights a month as my office is only about a mile away. This hotel consistently delivers on quality, consistency, great service, good food and very friendly staff. Rooms are always clean, comfy and a very relaxing environment. You would think that staying at this hotel so often would lessen my desire to write a review on it but I actually look forward to my stays here because it consistently meets my expectations and I would highly recommend this hotel for business... As my Mum is a regular at the Gym, she had heard great reviews about the afternoon tea. Therefore we booked it for my Dads birthday, 6 people attended. AFTERNOON TEA: as you can see in the photo, the platter was beautiful. Each person got 4 traiangles of various sandwiches: tuna, egg, salmon and ham with mustard. You also got (each), 1 sponge cake, 1 macaroon, 1 french fancy, 2 pastry tarts and finally 2 warm scones with cream and jam! Lovely. But we were so full, that 5 scones had to come hom... Read more

We stayed here because our children brought us a champagne cocktail voucher for my anniversary, well I say champagne which it wasn't as we heard the member of staff shout two prosseco cocktails to the bar opposite.hmmm Anyway the meal (3 course) was lovely I had a tbone steak which I haven't had for years (supplement of ten pounds) a salmon starter and a lovely rhubarb apple crumble.. Unfortunately there was a fire alarm gone off and we had to evacuate which was a bit unfortunate but these thin... Read more
