Stayed in Nov 2017 in Cabana Suite with pool access. This hotel is so beautifully decorated, all the Thai decor and details truly makes you feel like you are in Thailand and not like the generic modern hotels we saw. Our room had direct access to the pool with a swim up bar & we spent lots of time there sipping drinks. The room was very clean and spacious, the nightly turn down service was a lovely touch and all the staff were very respectful and helpful. The restaurant was very delicious both ... Read more

Sawasdee Village definitely lived up to our expectations! The scenery was beautiful, and the location is good. Very close to the beach and local shops/food, not to mention there are two beautiful pools to swim in at the hotel itself. We stayed in a garden room, which was a little outdated but clean and comfortable. Because of the hotels location and the surrounding greenery, there are many bugs/mosquitos so just keep that in mind. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and ... Read more

What a beautiful hotel, we were lucky to have 3 nights in the Cabana Suite Pool Access room. Very thoughtfully considered design, absolutely gorgeous surrounds. The rooms are well appointed and extremely clean, the staff are pleasant and helpful, the location excellent, wifi extremely fast, western toilet (you can flush!), superb water pressure, the best hair conditioner ever! I cannot fault this resort, it's certainly the best hotel we've stayed at in Phuket & I wish we didn't have to leave! Hi... Read more

I noticed Sawasdee Village by chance, and I found my beautiful pictures here. To confess I did not believe it will be much wonderful as the pics show. But I have to accept that it strongly surprised me what I have paid and what I received. The hotel is really well organized, most of the staff are friendly and make me very comfortable staying. The real deal is the art all around the hotel, it is so fabulous, it will stun you walking around finding the hidden feature that you will not hesitate to ... Read more

My wife found fantastic reviews of sawasdee village on trip advisor, including that the hotel was child friendly. This could not be further from the truth. Taking our 6 year old on their first trip to Thailand was an exciting experience, he had a lot of questions to ask. We arrived at the front desk and our child had asked the front desk staff about the pool, they were told to "shhh be quiet" we could not believe the bad attitude and asked to speak to a manger who we were told was not on duty. Stayed in September from Germany, my wife booked the hotel from reading the reviews it sounded very impressive. The room was tiny and filled with mosquito, a lot smaller than photos online. We told staff who said we could not move rooms and ended up getting a lot of bites. The hotel is nice and garden is well maintained around the resort though, on a very dangerous street my wife was followed into the hotel and demanded giving money, we told staff they did not care. Would not stay again.

This place is amazing. The resort is beautiful. Two different pools with swim up bars. You can walk to everything. Visited the spa and had a 3 hour spa package, very reasonably priced. The restaurant onsite is also great.

Look no further for a traditional Thai hotel in the centre of Kata. The beautiful grounds boast lots of shade to escape the heat either by the pool or on one of the many day beds set amongst the water features. The breakfast buffet was great, with loads of variety. Then you've got the option to relax by the pool, complete with swim up bar (and 2-4-1 cocktails between 4-6pm) or take a short walk or catch the free shuttle bus to the beach (runs hourly 9am -6pm). Rooms were as expected and staff we... Read more

An interesting hotel with rustic decor and trees everywhere, so it was quite a change of ambiance for us after a few nights in Bangkok. The room is small but with adequate amenities like complimentary bottled water, beach towels, insect repellent/balm and the usual toiletries. The furnishing in the room has a very old feel, we didnâ??t even use the mosquito net cause it felt like it was very dusty. Luckily we didnâ??t get too many bites in the room, as they have a mosquito repellent spraying ses... Read more
