Located with the moat of then old city, it is in a great location with gardens and lots of places to eat nearby. Quite old but comfortable and convenient. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. We went out each evening for a meal as there are some good places nearby where the main course costs £1. The pool is surrounded by the hotel buildings so gets limited sunshine and is cold. There are only around 8 loungers to lie on, but as the hotel is quite small, probably not a problem. Free shuttle ... Read more

This place, especially compared to our hotel in Bangkok, was just perfect. Beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, great location, pool is nice. Reminded me of a mission style hotel in Palm Springs. Fitness center is kind of a joke but all in all we loved it.

Stayed here for three nights. I must say that all staff members are very polite and helpful, they all spoke English. However we found the hotel to be nothing special. PROS - Good location within the old city, easy walk to the temples. - Free hotel shuttle to the night bazaar (one way, no return) - The room was spacious and the decor was ok (Thai style). CONS - Wifi was slow and had to be reset by the staff constantly. - The exteriors of the property lack maintenance, specially the hallways. - ... Read more

This is a nice looking little place. Staff are friendly and helpful. We received two vouchers for free drinks and two vouchers for free 1 hour Thai massages or 1 hour foot massages. The rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom was a bit dirty, though. I found long black hairs on the floor and an used contact lens, so the cleaning services might not be very thorough. We were here during the weekend and heard loud dance music coming from next door that prevented us from getting m... Read more

This was the second time staying at this hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The service is excellent. The restaurant next door is convenient and serves good food. This is a great option for staying in Chiang Mai.

We stayed at the hotel for four nights in the cheapest rooms at the hotel. The reception area was a very impressive space to be welcomed in. We were served tea while we checked in and got a very diligent introduction to our room. The hotel itself is beautiful and very homely. It's location is very convenient. You can walk to most things in Chiang Mai and it's not too loud (unless you get irritated by the sound of the fountains at the pool at around seven in the morning). The bathroom was big... Read more

Along with the family we spent one night and loved the place. In a good location the hotel offers good quality bedrooms with significant character, as well as good breakfast and kind staff. A good choice!

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful traditional Thai house for three nights. All staff was really helpful, we tried to book a tour during busy Christmas and it was quite difficult since everything was booked up, they patiently helped us try and find a tour during all afternoon. The room was spacious, nice and firm mattress, our room had a balcony to the swimming pool, which The swimming is nice though a bit small. If you have light sleep and do not want to wake up early in the morning, yo... Read more

A very friendly and homely hotel where the reception team soon get to recognise you. We stayed just three nights and found it met our needs. The air conditioning unit was a little noisy, and there wasn't much choice for breakfast and no explanation about other options available, but for the price we paid we can't complain. We made use of the pool which is in a secluded courtyard - a welcome relief at the end of a long day touring the local sites.
