Having stayed there for 2 nights. It is cosy and green hotel. You can enjoy varieties of tropical plants there. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. There were choice of Thai and European food. The room was spacious. The only thing I was not enjoyed was the towels which is torn and shabby. The location is a little bit far from city center. So it ' s quiet and fresh in the evening and at night.

This hotel was absolutely fabulous! I felt like we were in a secluded royal thai garden. The hotel owner has done a great job maintaining the elaborate gardens. It feels like a small boutique resort (especially around the pool) not a typical hotel. Which room you choose and how much you pay for that room will dictate how you come away feeling about the hotel. We stayed in a top room category (we were upgraded free of charge) to a Royal Lanna Villa and it was phenomenal! There are only about 20... Read more

Its hard for the better hotels to really introduce visitors to the real Thai culture, Siripanna is a rare exception and does a great job of presenting the real Thailand in a luxury setting. I really loved sitting on the room balcony over the working rice field in the middle of the hotel. The service was excellent, the rooms all new, and the beds comfortable enough. The only downside was location, its too far from anything for walking but Chiang Mai has plenty of local transportation.

I recently spent a few days in Chiang Mai and was fortunate enough to stay at the Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa. At first I was a little disappointed by the fact that the hotel wasn't downtown, but is in a sort of suburb-like area. However, there are free shuttle vans that take you into central Chiang Mai and I quickly realized that the center of Chiang Mai is only about 10 to 15 minutes away. And if you miss the shuttle buses, the receptionists will order a taxi which will appear at the entranc... Read more

This resort is one of a kind. It's located in the city but I felt I was in a village! It has its own paddy-filed in the middle of their buildings! The resort has indeed uniqueness of the Lanna way through its history, art, cultural charm which you rarely find in other resorts. We stayed here for two nights at Deluxe Gallery room as part of the Siripanna Gallery. Surrounded by nature and beautiful lanna-style buildings . The room is spacious, warmth with open aired balcony. I experienced a hand... Read more

When the cab driver pulled up to this place my heart dropped because I though, oh my gosh we don't belong here. This place is way too nice and we paid too much money to stay here! The hotel is really beautiful. The entry way is very inviting in its own opulent way. The pool is different but nice. It's set up more like a lazy river almost so its really there for cooling off and floating that actual swimming/playing. The room was lovely. The bathroom was gorgeous with a lovely tub. We did get a ... Read more

We booked the hotel due to the raving reviews ad beautiful pictures on their website. Let's get straight to the point: PROS: - Friendly staff - Beautiful hotel grounds (gym and jungle corridors only) - Pool is nice but very small - Decent breakfast - Complimentary FIRST COME FIRST SERVE one way shuttle to the night bazaar at 6pm,7pm,8pm only. NO return shuttle available. CONS: - Dated rooms (not worth the price) - Grand Deluxe Lanna room was underwhelming: small (not as spacious as i imagined ... Read more

we just stayed 3 nights in this hotel, which really does need an upgrade. You can see that it was once a luxury hotel, but it has however been neglected and is now all a bit run down. The hotel is all in need of repair and renovation but the worst was the mouldy sun beds. The pool area is nice but the sun beds are so mouldy that its hard to enjoy. the kids club is also very dark and a bit sad, neglected in general. The staff are very friendly but also a little but undertrained for this standard ... Read more

We just came back from staying two nights at this hotel - it was meant to be the luxury experience at the end of our trip. The service at front desk is fab, the pool is very pretty (all be it very very cold) and the hotel area expansive, however it has the feel of a place that's well in need of some TLC and frankly we were disappointed. I'm sure in it's hey day it would have been one of the top places to stay but frankly compared to other places in town the extra cost to stay here is not worth t... Read more

Me and my wife went as a part of our honeymoon and can't say that we were 100% satisfied. There was no specific problem per se, but the breakfast seemed to be poor in terms of variety and also looked like all the pastry was bought from outside (instead of homemade). The room was great, very big and comfortable. Nice bathroom, with a bathtub and all. We missed a mosquito electric repelent of some kind as the city and the hotel have a lot of woods, forests and rice plantations. Also a small lizar... Read more
