It's certainly not a bad hotel and worth the money for sure but for me I would prefer to be in the old city. It's not far away but it's not what I would call central. The room was comfy enough but the bathroom very small (very nice shower though) Breakfast fairly ordinary.

Good location to lots of nice places to eat and the markets. We tended to get an uber into the markets (to avoid getting too hot) but then walk back later as it was within distance. Room was cleaned daily which was great with fresh towels and bedsheets. Breakfast was decent on a morning and had a lot of variety of western and local food. Most staff were polite too, I would say make sure you bring cash on your arrival as they insisted we paid when checked in when we asked if we could wait till th... Read more

Stayed here with our children on a weekend trip to chiang mai. Close to old city which is the only positive about the place. It's dirty- we had ants in our room in the bed in our shoes everything. Had to call reception to get the room cleaned and even then the cleaners came in didn't clean properly muttered to each other and left. On our second night our bedroom door kept being opened so thank god we put the chain on else someone would've been in our room twice. Try explaining that to small ch... Read more

The first room I was checked into had not been cleaned from previous guest. The next room they gave me while they cleaned the first one has an overwhelming pungent odor, so I moved back to the first one. Horrible breakfast buffet. And no real coffee for breakfast --only Nescafe. Odd since fresh ground coffee is everywhere in Thailand and chiangmai, but not at this hotel. Expect 3% surcharge for using credit card. You have to time going down for breakfast perfectly --if you go at 7, when they cla... Read more

My wife and I stayed here this past March. Our room was clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. The washrooms were gorgeous and looked to be newly renovated. The location was great... about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the old city. The stay comes with a delicious hot Thai breakfast. By far the best part about our time at this hotel was the service. I lost my wallet and the staff went above and beyond to help me locate it. I had left it in a tour bus. They were able to get it back for me and I'm f... Read more

I found the breakfast wanting. For their prices they should offer more than instant coffee that you prepare yourself. Breakfast is also tailored to Chinese travelers, which made up the majority of guests while I was there. Roosters started crowing at 5 AM, which was irritating. Staff spoke almost no English, making simple communication difficult. They tried to give me someone else's laundry. Pros: it was off the beaten path, clean.
