I had a great stay at The Peaberry in Chiang Mai. Mimi, Stephanie & Fin went out of their way to make sure that I was taken care of. Fin even came to pick me up in his car at a facility that was far away and not regularly serviced by taxi drivers. The property is located by the canal. The street is fairly busy during the day but quiets down at night. I had a problem with the hot water in my room but they moved me to another room no questions asked. Free bicycles to use. I walked to Old City fro... Read more

We had the great fortune to stay for over a week at the The Peaberry in room 34 as part of our 3 month trek through SE Asia. From moment 1 of the booking to the the last, we were treated wonderfully. Communication was clear and quite prompt. I had questions concerning flooding and cost of transport to the hotel. Both answered quickly and accurately. We stayed in room 34 which faces the street. Finn was concerned that we would be disturbed by traffic. I have to say we were not at all bothered. ... Read more

Such a great hotel with excellent service. The people could not have been nicer. The breakfast was included and amazing. Made to order eggs, fresh fruit and toast! The room was so spacious with a huge bathroom with a rain shower head. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the old city in Chiang mai!

Brilliant little family run hotel. Stayed here with 2 of my friends, it was our first time in Chiang Mai, could not have asked for better service. I was sick on the first day and my friends made sure that the maid did not disturb me as well as organizing fresh clean towels for us all before they left for the day. The hotel were happy to help organize the Thai Boxing for us one of the evenings as well as recommending great restaurants and bars for us to visit whilst in Chiang Mai. Before our day ... Read more

Just Got out Chiang Mai Ram hospital and had to stay close to hospital in case of emergency... This little hotel is SO nice - lovely staff and lovely rooms :-) They greeted me and helped with all my enquiries - simply a little lovely hotel on "upper west side" ;-)

The staff is wonderful, always there to help you with a smile on their face. After we checked in, they invited us to have breakfast, although we were not supposed to. They arranged taxi rides for us, they took me to a tailor's to get my bag fixed, and offered us amenities after we had checked out. The location inside the ancient walls is great, a short tuk-tuk ride from the touristy markets/bazaars, and at a walking distance from some great temples. The hotel is beautifully designed, with a co... Read more

This spot was in the area we wanted to stay so we booked it. The communication problems started when I called to clarify the beds in the room booking. They got it wrong although i made several calls and sent emails. This was a pattern there so just assume their English is not as good as they think. Having visited before I found their recommendations on tourists tours to be of the lowest quality. The rooms are really tight and only a contortionist would be able to reach the safe. Mostly cle... After traveling Myanmar for 3 weeks, I booked this hotel for my visit to Chiang Mai. The hotel is great, rooms are great and staff is nice. However, I had a room on the roadside (3rd floor) and it was terribly noisy with all the street traffic racing by all day and night. As a result, I did not enjoy my stay and missed the peacefulness I had the weeks before! Advice: book a room on the back side of the hotel.

This is a well located hotel. Right on the edge of old town. About a 15 minute walk to some of the temples. Spas, laundry and restaurants close by. Excellent service. Staff very attentive and kind. Room and bathroom shower was big and clean. Great air con.

I have not stayed in the Peaberry hotel yet but visited the cafe a couple of times while on the way to Sense Thai massage studio nearby. The cafe with its open air area attracted me to sit for a while, sip an iced late and chat with Ms Li who was such a nice company to talk with. Judging by those first impressions I'd say the hotel might be a nice place to stay as from my traveler's experience I valued the staff and the service the most.
