I think this is the worst hotel in Furama brand and the worst hotel in Thailand. Even a hostel don't make me feel better. Rooms and facilities are old, 2pools but when I stay, only one is using. The other one is pool party, so small. Front desk is terrible. Staff are rude, never seen rude Thai people until here. I want to refund first but my friend is tired so I have no choice. Definitely not come back

Won??t lie to you: this is not a new hotel. The building is several years old...but you won??t even notice that! The hotel is big, and even if that could be annoying, their team is so amazing that you will feel like home. Everything is clean, comfy, and the service is one of the fastest I??ve known, considering the size of the building and high occupancy of the hotel when I was there. Really good and fast room service, nice Buffet for breakfast, a good gym, rooftop pool to have a swim...and a... Read more

This was my second time staying at the Furama the first was last year with my son we stayed in a superior room with mountain views which we just loved. This time I booked an executive suite but on arrival was disappointed in the two rooms I was shown as I was celebrating a very special occasion with my wife and my two children. I wanted that view and a room with a higher standard of class. I'm not one to be fussy or cause bother but as I travel very often, for this occasion the rooms s... Read more

When we first turned up to the hotel we were in awe with the sheer size of it. At a first glance it's very luxurious but as you stay a while you start to notice how much the hotel needs a bit of TLC. This revue is based upon value for money and not necessarily the hotel alone. Pros: Decent breakfast, huge clean room, clean pool, friendly staff, next to shopping mall, good value for money. Cons: The big pool was closed for maintenance which mean that everyone tried to cram upstairs where... Read more

This hotel has been the biggest disappointment of a wonderful trip to Thailand. We are aware that this is a budget hotel but the management photos are very misleading and the location is awful, despite marketing itself as a '5 minute drive' from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Thankfully we have spent most of our time outside of the hotel exploring the old town and on excursions. Leaving the hotel without a taxi is extremely dangerous as the only place you can walk to is a busy r... Read more

My partner and I are backpacking around Thailand in a little bit more of a glamorous way by staying in hotels, so I'm sure any hotel is better than the hostels or cheaper accommodations that backpackers use!! Now I do agree with other comments where the lobby area is very grand and well kept, where as the rooms are a little bit behind! We thought our room was nice, with good air con and a very nice large bed! However our shower wasn't great due to the flow not being consistent and it also leake... Read more

We stayed three nights in total. The staff are courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean, cool and well stocked. The breakfast included was more than adequate for us Canadians. We did do the Night Plaza which is a little far away but we happened upon a couple other markets within walking distance. The MAYA Plaza is a short walk away. All in all, a great place to stay.

A few years back this was probably a super hotel in Chiang Mai as are many of its cousin properties such as Kuala Lumpur but not today. Big room and swift elevators are a strong feature however the rooms are in in need of more than TLC they need a complete refurbishment. The suite I occupied could have been very nice, ok it was not very expensive in line with other local properties I suppose and yet it was in a poor physical condition. The bathroom was poor, the main shower head hanged drunkenly... Read more
