Location is great just in new town but very close to old part. Easy walk to night market. We only stayed one night which was good as we didn't sleep well. Woken up too many times with fan/ air conditioning noise we had ours switched off. Room compact, no view and noisy fridge. Very clean and good shower. We were on 8th floor. Breakfast ok but would probably book elsewhere next time.

Maninarakorn Hotel is really good for families to stay in, and has very chilled, friendly looking rooms, although is like most other standard hotels. The pool is a nice environment to hang out in, and the actual hotel is quite central to Chiang Mai, which makes it easy to find transport and get to places. Good cleaning services, also with a coffee shop in the court at the bottom, near the main road and a shopping centre.

This hotel is fine if you are on a tight budget. We stayed here a few years ago and it has gone down hill a bit since then. Stayed in the main building, rooms are in need of updating, some if the furniture is broken, there is a lack of lamps so it is dark. No safe in the room but there are safety boxes in reception. Bathroon is OK. We did get good WiFi unlike some other reviewers. Breakfast is pretty poor if I was staying here again I would take room only and get breakfast out. There are a coupl... Read more

I've always done my best to give a proper review of places I've stayed and I wish I could give ZERO ratings for this hotel. They don't tell you online that there is NO ELEVATOR and that even if you are 70 years old, as I am, they will put you on the third floor and make you carry your luggage up the stairs WITHOUT ANY HELP AT ALL! Air conditioners only worked after they had to come and put new batteries in the temperature controllers but even after that, the temperature controller made no diff... Read more

Nice looking clean hotel. I stayed in the main building 8th floor. I'll start with the less positive things: no hot water in the shower for the 4 nights i was there, and I tried different times of the day. The breakfast at 250 Thai Baht was kinda overpriced, I guess if you have it included it's ok but there's so many other places to eat. The pool area looked nice but the water was pretty murky so I stayed out. The good stuff: the hotel lobby is really nicely appointed, I hung out there a few ... Read more

I have stayed at the MANINARAKORN for the third time . I always loved that Hotel, but this time I was disappointed. Issues with my room had not been fully addressed, the breakfast buffet was minimal, the staff indifferent and the room price (for a walk- in) much higher than advertised. I agree with the previous reviewer and I will not recommend this Hotel further.

The rooms are decorated with older antique style furniture. If you enjoy antiques, this is a great place. Rooms are also very spacious and well cared for. They include a microwave (quite rare these days) a hot water pot and a small refrigerator. Downside is the internet is very poor and there are basically no English channels except for RT, Al Jazeera and DW news. Great if you're Thai but not if you're main language is English. Altogether nice but with limitations.

It's my first stay in this hotel after many search via Travelling Apps and Google Search. Saw their A&P photos and got tricked. They did not show their Block B & C apartment type of hotel, away from their Main Hotel (Block A). My room was assigned at Level 2, Block B. It was an old hotel block with dark walkway. A few lighting at the walkway were out of order. In my staying room, a few lighting were out too. Call to reception to complain and they send their technician to fix it. Water pressure i... Read more

We went there for three days and the beginning was great...an upgrade to a suite...a very wonderful room. Every morning the towel were changed. The breakfast is vary. But... The reception was totally a fault...unpolite and very rude. An evening we tried to better understand the price that they gave us for a taxi transport to the airport (every time the price was different and higher at the reception)...the receptionist became very rude grimacing us while we were spoken...when we asked him the re...
