A peaceful oasis in this big city. Owner and staff made me feel calm, comfortable and welcome. Grounds are vigorously verdant. The restaurant is excellent; serving sumptuous vegetarian and seafood only.

Beautiful room. Location a little out of town. We enjoyed taking the river boat into the city - certainly an experience with the daily commuters! Definitely an oasis in a bustling city. We thought the restaurant was absolutely superb and would recommend a visit whether staying here or not.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights before moving on to Chaing mai. We were thrilled with the enormous room overlooking the pool, and right next to the canal. The taxi buses were noisy as they went past at some speed but it added an extra feeling of being in the East. We had a sitting area, a lovely spotless bathroom and a stunning four poster bed. Robes and slippers were available in the room but if you want English tea, probably bring some in your suitcase though I'm sure the staff would... Read more

We stayed two nights at Ariyasomvilla having landed in Bangkok for a 6 week tour. David and his wife run a very tidy ship indeed. A great welcome and very friendly staff. The room was very well appointed, with everything that you would need. I had a couple of things that needed printing off, and one document that needed scanning. The reception team were very accommodating in these matters. We have booked a further night at the end of our trip. I would have no reservation in recommending this... Read more

My husband and I spent our first few nights in Thailand in this hotel and it was a very pleasant stay! The room was spacious, clean and well presented. It was also in a good location as the sky train station and river taxi pier were both close by. The main road offers shopping malls and eateries, but the hotel is set well back form the busy street and seems to be in a bubble of calm. Walking down a poorly lit lane in the evening seemed a little daunting, but we had no problems and felt very safe... Read more

Actually It was the first time for me to visit Thailand I'm so enjoyed to stay at Ariyasomvilla. The staff were very helpful. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was perfect. The location is not far from the Skytrain station. Really recommend.

We spent 4 nights here and it has become a favorite place to stay in Bangkok. I have stayed at the Oriental, The Peninsula, and Marriott on the Chao Phraya river. I will be returning here on future visits. I love the small boutique feel with personalized service and the beautiful gardens. It feels very zen-like. The breakfast is amazing. We ate the Thai style breakfast every morning and it was superb. The owner David makes it a very welcoming and personal experience. The staff are very kind and ... Read more

This is a lovely oasis of calm, set in beautiful gardens with pool and very nice spa. The owner/manager David is friendly and high profile , helpful if you have any queries. He makes a point of getting around and speaking to all the guests each day. The staff are lovely, they looked after us very well. Our room, 110 superior on the ground floor, was spacious , comfortable and well equipped, attention to detail is superb, they have thought of everything. Interesting artworks and artefacts all o... Everything was great in this hotel. Staff, Restaurant, Massage. It is a bit far from touristic places, but uber is helpful. Also, if you'd like to get public transport, is close to a sky train station. Have to say that the restaurant is really great. Best food we ate in Bangkok. Highly recommended!

This family owned boutique hotel is a lovely oasis tucked away on a side street in busy Bangkok. The entire facility, built in the 1940s, is charming with beautiful bedrooms and a welcoming inner courtyard with tables for meals by the pool. Both the owners and staff are very friendly and appear to enjoy visiting with guests. Handsome architecture with mahogany floors, oversized doors opening to the courtyard, and beautiful landscaping makes one feel they've stepped into a bygone era. One can alm... Read more
