Been there 3 nights on a solo trip. Great position in the heart of Chinatown, close to Hua Lampong and Rattanakosin. The hotel is clean, the staff polite. Dont be scared by the appearences on the outside, nothing tonbe afraid of. Lil problem: sometimes its difficult for taxi and tuk tuk to find it, so be patient.. This was a very good choice!

Stayed here for one night before my flight the next morning. While the location at night looks absolutely dingy, the hotel itself is well priced for what it offers. Best of all, it is merely an alley away to Chinatown, and therefore, you are safe from the crazy noise from the main street. Great for light sleepers. PROS: -Connects directly to Chinatown/Yaowarat via a small alley. Looks creepy at night though as it is almost unlit, but you will have a quiet night's sleep for sure. -Room comes w... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights in the cheapest room. It is clean, has comfy bed, good air con and great shower water pressure. Good cooking facilities but why cook in the heart of Chinatown with wonderful street and restaurant food everywhere?! No doubt more expensive rooms in this hotel are nicer but this was a fine place for a rest and sleep. Staff friendly, helpful and genuine. Highly recommend.

Safe area. Not the best looking outside. Best bargains around. Nice hotel. If you want to shop. Good luck. You will need 2 cases and at least 4 days if you want to see all. You will have to do lots of alleys too find good prices. That is we're I will shop again next time I am in Bangkok

Perfect for backpackers on a budget who want to explore Chinatown! The room was clean, bathroom was nice, and monks could be heard chanting across the street. The room included a small kitchen, microwave, hot water heater, and complimentary tea, water, and coffee!

I was very happy with Check Inn Chinatown. The location was perfect for me. Walked to a lot of interesting places around chinatown. The room and bathroom were the perfect size for me and everything worked well. Really enjoyed the kitchenette available in the room. Staff were very helpful. And of course, the free wifi was super awesome and useful.

My mom and I wanted to visit the night market at Chinatown last Friday and decided to stay here because of the location. I was very pleased with the room for the price that we paid. The rooms also have a kitchenette with clean pans. I was surprised that this place offered free wifi that even reached our room on the 4th floor. The staff here were also helpful. It's a great place for people on a budget as you won't feel like it's a compromise.

I had come to Bangkok for work & wanted to stay in Chinatown as it was near my work place. I was reluctant to stay in this place at first due to the negative reviews I had read. However I was pleasantly surprised when I actually stayed there. The property is Centrally located & has entrance from 3 different roads including Yawarad road which is the food paradise of Bangkok. Rooms are clean tastefully decorated with Kitchenette. Staff very friendly. At the price they are charging I really got val... Read more
