I travel frequently and have a chance to stay in luxury hotels around the world but after two stays at Parsenn it has without question become my absolute favorite hotel. I say this primarily because of the owners Hanz and Martina Fopp. My first visit I arrived after the airlines lost my luggage and they went out of their way to make me comfortable, provide missing toiletries and even offered to re-open the kitchen (I arrived late). My second trip made me feel like I was coming home to long lost ... Read more

We stayed at this hotel during WEF. It was perfectly located across from the ski lift with 3 lifts taking us to 3 different restaurants and great views. It also had a skating rink next door and two grocery stores about 50 yards down the road. This was especially important when WEF started because the bus routes were changed and limited. The breakfast was really nice in the mornings. The staff was super friendly. They serve and manage the daily breakfast and the restaurant in the evenings. Our r... Read more

Stopped off here on our way from Lake Garda to Germany, good central location with a private car park to the rear, staff were very friendly and we got a room upgrade which was very spacious with a balcony looking out onto the mountains. The restaurant was not open for dinner during the summer but there were plenty other places to eat, the bar was open and we got an excellent breakfast.

And again we enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in March in this lovely family-owned hotel. Hans & Martina Fopp together with their uber-friendly staff really make you feel more than welcome and at home! Rooms are spacious with perfect beds and bathroom, breakfast is elaborate and we enjoyed all our 3 nights dining in the restaurant. The menu consists of local specialties, and a wide variety of (local) wines is available at affordable prices. Hans Fopp prepares great dishes with his gueridon! Th... Read more

Hotel Parsenn is incredibly convenient for the main Parsennbahn, and for the train station and buses and local amenities in Davos Dorf. We go back whenever we can. The Fopp family are welcoming and helpful and we love staying in this hotel. Recommend it very highly indeed!

It is clear for me: When I go back to Davos for skiing, I will return to the Hotel Parsenn. And I recommend this hotel to you. I spent a week in this hotel, and it was very conveniently located. After breakfast, I left the hotel, crossed the street, entered the Parsenn funicular station and started my skiing day around Weissfluh Joch and Gotschna Grat. Or I crossed the street and took the bus to the Jakobshorn or to the Rinerhorn skiing areas. At the Hotel Parsenn, skiing was "at my fingertipsâ... Read more

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, we were made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped through the door. The whole experience was similar to that of a large Chalet - hot soup provided in the communal lounge at 4pm was a nice touch, and the continental breakfast was as good as you'd get anywhere. The location is also perfect - right opposite the Parsenn station - we were up on the slopes before 9am most mornings. If you're planning a short trip to Davos on a budget, then this is the p... Five minutes walk, or one bus stop, from Davos Dorf railway station, the Parsenn is ideally situated opposite the Parsennbahn ski train. It is a very friendly hotel which has been in the Fopp family for several generations and is best suited for independent travellers. Good food and very comfortable rooms (well furnished with a good number of good quality coat hangers, something which many hotels lack!). Its bar is popular with locals and visitors alike, particularly as an apres-ski rendezvous. ... Read more
