We got sold this by Thomas cook as a 4 star hotel but in reality it is very mediocre 3 star with a few slides so if you have booked it as a four star I would seriously look elsewhere ( we looked around a few other 4 star hotels in the area by the same company and they were of a far higher standard). Upon arrival we booked in at reception and were told that it was 60 euro deposit for air con( its November so its very unlikely it was going to in the 30s.), beach towels (we always bring our own.),... Comfortable rooms, very nice and polite staff made me think that I won't regret about my being there. And I'm very happy that I was right. I liked this hotel from the very first day. Different cuisines such as Chinese, Italian and others allow you to taste different dishes and to choose what do you like the most. As I said before very polite and helpful staff always ready to answer all the question and explain where to find all that I need to. It takes about 20 minutes to go to the sea, and if ... Read more

Just been to paradise island for 10 days with my family and was quite disappointed with the whole experience. Our 3rd time to lanzarote but 1st time in this hotel. The restaurant was chaos never a bowl near the fruit or ice creams. Soft drinks had always run out so u you just got soda or if you were lucky to hit the jackpot you got a different drink than the 1 you wanted. Food was often cold but there was a microwave to warm it up. Couple of times the breakfast Sausages were pink in the middle o... Read more

First of all I want to give a massive thank you to the Thomas Cook rep, Joanne who works there. There are not many reps nowadays who want to talk and build a rapport with you like she did. Joanne definitely is an asset to the hotel. If you have any queries she can help you out. As far as the hotel is concerned, I really do not have any complaints. What I particularly love is the whole complex is clean and well maintained. Each day the apartments are cleaned and the beds are made. Also the the a... Read more

We arrived at night and got tea first! I‚??m a fussy eater however my sister and mother and 2 year old niece are not. I knew I would struggle but they did also. The Italian I looked forward too I asked for a cheese pizza instead of meat he said he can only make 1 flavour a day and ingredients aren‚??t already there! Not ideal for vegetarians! I was later told be another guest he made one up for them!! The Chinese was hopeless spring rolls and prawn crackers coming or your ears and lousy noodles ... Read more

The room I was given was a ground floor the private terrace area to the rear was surrounded by a 7ft wall. The door frame was falling apart. The room was never really cleaned properly. The air con unit fan blades were bent. When I arrived the shower was blocked. There were ants running everywhere. I was offered a choice of three alternative rooms which were all next to the drain area and was advised when the wind blows it stinks so I chose to stay where I was. The pool and water park were fairly... Read more

Pros: Ideal hotel for families. The hotel is situated quite a way from the sea front at Playa Blanca. A free courtesy bus runs down to the beach front daily. Taxis are 4-5 Euros to Playa Blanca if needed. The Hotel has its own Water Park which is ideal for those with small kids. In the restaurant there is a kids menu with the usual, chicken nuggets and chips etc. Pool-side snacks like burgers and hot dogs are available throughout the day. Our room was perfectly acceptable and clean, we did not ... Read more

Did not realise it was a 'family' hotel until we arrived, kids running around everywhere, not a good start. Just wanted a quiet place to enjoy the sun and read my book so this did not happen. The hotel is a long walk 4/5k down to the front and its uphill coming back so there is nowhere to go on an evening if you want a quiet drink somewhere else. Local bus service is good, every half hour and cost 1.40 Euro one way, there is also a free bus which only stops at one location and does not run after... Read more

Just returned from a 7 day stop at the hotel and was a little disappointed with a number of areas. The food was hit and miss, some days it would be stone cold (breakfast in particular and we would religiously be up for the 7.30am opening), and the quality of the lunch/evening meals seems to depend on the chef on at that time. The rooms were good, especially the bathrooms, however, the beds were very uncomfortable. Cleaners were very good although on one occasion we had a cleaner who had obvio... Read more
