The views from the rooms at this hotel are amazing. I had a lovely holiday with two friends who were also impressed with the hotel and its amenities. It's clean with a nice pool and friendly staff. The food is ok, the usual buffet. The location is great just outside of Palma, it takes about 1 hour and a quarter to walk along the bay to the Cathedral or there are frequent buses. Only about 20 mins from the airport. There is a hill or steps to go up from Cala Major to the hotel but would only be ... Read more

The hotel was clean and the pool was spacious and quiet. Myself and a few friends had a great few days. The cafe culture was lovely and we enjoyed every evening soaking up the atmosphere with the jolly locals

We got back from 10-days vacation few days ago. From the airport we took a taxi, it cost 30 euros. The hotel was good, needs a bit updating but for 3-star hotel it was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was a bit small. It was cleaned daily. The pillows were awful though. It is almost in every hotel, so nothing new with that. Amazing sea view from our balcony. Balcony ok size, 2 chairs. Safe price was 3 euros per day, too much we though and didn't use it. WiFi was available, but not so ... Read more

This was our 3rd holiday here in mid September (which actually turned into our honeymoon when we got married just before we left the UK). We knew what to expect from our previous visits - a reasonably priced hotel ,offering good service and very good value for money. The staff all work hard to provide a good service for everyone and we appreciate it - although some other guests from the UK seemed to have a bit of an attitude problem. The hotel is clean , the food is good for the price we paid, ... Read more

Located at the top of a hill overlooking the med, great sea view from room as a result. The staff were warm and welcoming, especially the bar people Boris and pepe. The waiting staff at breakfast were also warm and welcoming, all with ready smiles and a willingness to help. The hill was a bonus if you wanted exercise and a view, but had to be negotiated whenever you ventured anywhere - transport needed for the less able. The hotel was a little tired in places, but spotlessly clean. Breakfast wa... Read more

Booked a week at this place and lasted one night. From the moment we chexked in it was a nightmare. Staff arrogant hotel is old fashioned thread bare carpets old furniture. It s like going back to 1970. The rooms are tiny and in need of updating. Beds are like camp beds. It is the worst place I ve ever stayed. Food is awful I mean seriously awful. I hated every minute of it. We left after one night and booked into another hotel it was that bad tbere was no way I could have spent another night a... Read more

We have recently returned from an 11 night holiday -our second visit to the Blue Bay. It was , as was the first time , a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The food was plentiful ,regularly replenished ,and there was always enough choice for us. The salads and fruit were very good ,as was the chili , meatballs and rice pudding. But we found all the food to be of a very good standard given the cost of the holiday.Over the 11 days we were there we didnt struggle to eat and were never left hungry... Read more

Our family of 4 liked the hotel very much,my wife and I with sea view 1st fl room and 2 CH in twenties in 2 rear mountain view rooms. Great views and peaceful surroundings, nice gardens and Pool ( with bar), friendly and helpful staff. Easy to get a taxi for the 4 of us, got to the Cathedral in Palma that way. We did HB and seemed good choice, lunch -ate out on mostly baguettes and beer /cola. Would visit again a pleasure :)

Situated halfway up a steep hill, this hotel is not for the mobility impaired. To reach the hotel from Cala Mayor, you have a choice of the Slope of Death or the Steps of Doom. The Slope of Death is the main road that doesn't have a path, so we chose the Steps of Doom. They take you straight to the hotel's front door. However, there is a church, handily situated at the foot of the Steps, so if you expire whilst ascending, you can be easily rolled down to the church, where you can do a different ... Read more

Have just returned from staying 9 days at the Blue Bay Lanzorete. I found this hotel to be a little dated but that is the only negative about it. The food was good and plenty of variety; The staff were at the dining room door to meet you and take you to a table. There is also a snack bar that you can get food throughout the day ie toasties burgers etc. The rooms were spacious and towels changed daily except Wednesday when maids had their day off. Sheets were changed twice a week and I found... Read more
