This is a very good budget hotel. Very clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Quiet effective aircon. We have previously stayed at the Malaga Ibis and much prefer the Zenit. Although we read other reviews saying it is 15 minute walk to historic Malaga we found it to be more like 30 minutes. We like walking so this was fine and the weather was good. Felt safe at night. Regular buses from hotel to town anyway. We got the train from the airport to Maria Zambrano station and then a taxi which cost the ... Read more

The room was of a decent size with a good mattress and plump pillows. There was a minibar filled with soft drinks and the aircon did it's job. The bathroom was also of a good size. The quality of the breakfast exceeded the price paid. The hotel is located in a quiet side street just over 0.5km from the tourist attractions and main shopping area so they are within walking distance. Amongst other things, there is a supermarket and a few little bars nearby. Bus and train station would be a 10 euro... Read more

Stayed at Zenit hotels many times and this was a disappointment. The location is good and the parking though pricey is just next door. An easy walk to the old town. The rooms are very good, little by way of views but not an issue. What was an issue was the restaurant which was truly dreadful. Kept waiting for ages whilst they dealt with a party. By the time we got in we suspect chef had gone home. The meal we were served was inedible and was returned we refused to pay and were somewhat grudgingl... Read more

We were visiting Malaga again and wanted to stay in the north of the city which is why we chose the Zenit. It is within walking distance of the centre in particular Plaza Merced with its bars and restaurants but there is a stop just outside of the hotel with quick links to the city centre. We used the 1 and C1/C2. Coming back we got the bus to to Fuente Ollletas. The hotel is very reasonably priced, friendly and clean. We booked early via the hotel website for a substantial discount. I understan... Read more

Corporate, neat, as expected chain hotel. Friendly staff, good variety for breakfast, quiet rooms with air con, clean well cared for bathrooms. Mini bar, quiet environment. Easy check in. Would recommend. Just not very unique.

This hotel is not really in the center, but it is just a 10 minutes walk. There is the bus station just in front of it (1.30 ? / line 1 or C1 every 10 minutes). It is easy to reach by car. The room was clean (501) and, dispute it was located beside the elevator, it was quite. The bathroom was great! Clean and roomy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fair enough, with soja milk, coffee, tee, brioches, bread, fruits, cereals... (7.5 ?/person). I recommend it.

Just arrived back from a 2 night stay through Jet2. Having visited Malaga before we wanted a different location. 20 mins walk through pleasant streets to old town then further 15 to marina then maybe 10 to the beach. No issue for us as we wanted to walk everywhere stopping for refreshments as we wished. A fabulous town to visit and hotel in great location for this. We was greeted by pleasant staff member who gave us a map and directions to area and our room was ready even though we was early we ... Read more

We booked our week to Malaga fairly last minute but liked the look of this hotel as it reminded us of the Balmes hotels in Barcelona. Not disappointed.Modern, clean lovely staff and good food served in restaurant.Plenty options locally in the Olletas area about 15 mins by bus to the historic centre and marina/ beach..or a nice 40 min stroll which we did regularly past the Plaza de Merced ( Picasso's birthplace ).Great buzzy area ..hotel in a quiet side street ..still city noise but we don't min... A very good hotel that should cater for most peoples needs. The staff are English speaking which is just as well, I left my bag containing an I pad in the taxi. I reported my loss to the people on the the desk with more hope than expectation, I was very pleased the next day when they told me that they had recovered it, I hope they don't do a review on me.

It's a ??? great hotel. I've no hesitation recommending it. It's down an unattractive, narrow, side street near a roundabout. The roundabout is notable as there's a statue of St Don Bosco on it. There's a well stocked supermarket and a Dominos pizza nearby but why anyone wants a Dominos with fresh, local food choices close by is beyond me. There are no great views from the hotel rooms unless you count the sky but the bed is comfy. Our room had a small entrance hallway then a right turn through ... Read more
