Stayed here for three nights with my fiends for a weekend in Madrid. The staff was alright and so was the room a and the breakfast. Nothing special. Two things bothered me which was that I had no warm water when I took a shower in the middle of the night after our flight. (And yes I did wait). And you could only connect three units per room to their WiFi. We had a du double standard room which was what you expect from a standard room. One thing that kept annoying all of us was the high temperatu... Read more

I had visited this hotel as part of a three night break to Madrid. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly hotel staff and went straight up to the room, the room was very spacious and modern, although the bathroom was a little dated. The hotel itself is is a great location for exploring the city, there are plenty of restaurants and sights to visit near by. My favourite thing about this hotel had to be the rooftop pool, as I visited in August the city was extremely warm and the pool area was ... Read more

Our fifth floor room overlooking a side street and into the Gran Via was roomy, comfortable and quiet. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast options were broad and fresh. We were very close to a metro station, restaurants and shopping. We can highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in December. One of the main factors for our decision of booking this hotel, was its central location in Gran Via, being a stone's throw away from attractions, such as the Royal Palace, as well as the shopping districts and streets. The hotel service was quite good, and if you have the breakfast package as well, you get a buffet style meal with a variety of meats, cheeses, juices, bread and much more. The only downside is that when the waiters ask you if you ... Read more

Myself and my wife spent 3 nights (Thurs - Sun) in January at the Hotel Emperador. Firstly the location. The hotel is located on the Gran Via and is less than 5 minutes walk from the main centre. There is a metro station outside the hotel. It's about 40 minutes from the airport using the metro or a fixed â?¬30 by taxi. The staff in the hotel are great, very friendly and helpful, this includes the security guard and the cleaning staff. As for the hotel, it's not a very modern hotel, don't e... Read more

Excellent hotel right in the middle of Madrid on Gran Via perfect for family holidays or business. You can walk to all the major tourist destinations, making it perfect to go back and relax in the afternoon after walking the city, before going out for dinner. Very stylish lobby and lobby bar and friendly staff. Rooms are nice and clean.

Rooftop have a good area with swimming pool, great for refreshments on the summer time. The location is also great. The breakfast is good but quite expensive for Spain. The room was old and small. I'd come back just to use the pool area, as it isn't just for guests, but I wouldn't book a room again for this price.
