It is true that this is the best hotel in the area for its location. It is not an international chain like Four Seasons,Ritz or Hyatt so do not expect much though there is a charm in this boutique hotel. Once you get acknowledged with operating system of the hotel, you will feel like at home. Employees are almost invisible but helpful to assist. Lunch terrace was my favorite spot for food and pool. Chef there is very good, food was delicious for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is not so, mainly cold... Read more

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Fact! This is not a 5 star hotel, it may have been a 5 star in the 1960's, but certainly not any more! This hotel is so poor, that despite booking this for my honeymoon, my wife and I checked ourselves out after 2 night! After we had to pay ?28 euros to have room service (which was more than the food itself). The room was small, old and dated. The bed was rock hard and the superior sea view room looked straight out onto the high rise block nex... Read more

Ok first, the few bad points! Bed was a tad uncomfortable, wifi didn't always work for me and the onsite spa beautician was in fact a bloke (I've always though myself to be open minded, but the idea of surprising my wife on our romantic weekend away with a relaxing full body massage from another man while I sneaked off to read some work emails... a little creepy... glad I didn't get the chance to phone and pre-book before arriving as I had originally intended!). Now the many good points! Hote... Read more

We were here for a futball tournament as part of a tour group. The team was across the street at a pretty bad Htop hotel. I opted for something a little nicer. When you walk in the lobby you feel like you are entering an old Tuscan style villa. The rooms are not especially great (though not bad), but the outdoor setting is terrific. This is a great escape from the surrounding chaos that exists just outside the private estate's gated entrance. You literally feel like you are in a different world.... Read more

There are different types of rooms - Some are small and crowded and some are larger and more spacious. Part has only a door facing a balcony that does not have privacy, But there is sea view from the balcony. There are rooms with balcony, window and sea views. We preferred the room facing the back of the hotel rather than the front. The first room was small and cramped - the bathroom too. The second room was spacious with a window and a balcony to the sea - the bathroom was spacious and pleas... Read more

Enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Service was great, sea views from the room just astonishing. Big terraced balconies to enjoy your morning sunshine. 1st beach line, good swimming pool and Spa area. Have to mention the lovely character interior of the room. Will be back.

Thought we would stay at this hotel as it was highly recommended by the locals, after a long drive from France. Room was old and smelly. The heating was on all night, so we had to open the window to let some air in. The following morning we awoke to find our bed was infested with tiny bugs and so were all our towels. When we called the maid she swiftly handed everything over to the management and they all disappeared. Spent the next 2 hours waiting to speak to the manager, who never showed... Read more

This is by far not a 5 star hotel, but probably the best in Lloret del Mar. I will try to be objective and start with the positive aspects of this accommodation. First the location is perfect right at the beach just far away enough from Lloret del Mar but close enough for our teenage boys to enjoy the night live without taking a taxi. Fenals beach is nice, clean and I have the impressions used by families who don't feel comfortable at the Lloret de Mar beach which is crowded with youngsters who ... Read more

After reading other glowing reviews purporting to how marvelous this "resort" is, I can only conclude two things; there is obviously not much choice in high-end resorts in the region and fellow reviewers are obviously not as acquainted with true 5* treatment and hospitality! It's made quite obvious from the start that there is a hierarchy of attention provided to guests with English speaking guests ranked at the bottom; on numerous occasions reception staff looked past us serving French, Spanish... This is a lovely and peaceful hotel with beautiful views. The hotel has a very quaint Spanish villa feel to it. The rooms were of good size and very clean. My only small gripe with our room is the first time I turned the shower on, the water power forced the shower head to bounce off the wall and onto my head. The breakfast was lovely with coffee bought to your table. The variety and quality of food was amazing as well as being outside with beautiful sea views. Both the outside and inside poo... Read more
