The room was small, but that is expected in Europe. It was clean. The bed mattress was a bit stiff for me and the pillow was unusual. The staff at the reception were helpful and pleasant. The location was convenient walking distance to the places I wanted to go to. This was very good value, and with a similar price, if I was visiting Granada again for only 1 or 2 nights, I would stay there again. For a longer stay, I think I would need a different type of mattress.

I didn't know what to expect given the previous reviews but I was very pleasantly surprised . Perfect location with lots of lovely bars and restaurants close by . We booked a double room and it had a small living room too so loads of room. We were there in October and it was still about 24 degrees so air conditioning needed at night . No pool or anything so might not be best choice in hot summer . I'd definitely recommend if you want a clean , handy hotel for short break.

Ultimate self service canteen. Even got to serve your own tea or coffee. When wedding receptions or wedding fayres took place residents were left to their own devices. When complaints were made they were rejected and lies told about being offered drinks as compensation.Lovely building, poor organisation and nothing much round about without bussing or taking taxis.

The hotel located in the city center was the place where the poet Federico Garcia Lorca spent his last days, you could even feel him like a ghost inside the building. The most important things in a hotel for me are beds, breakfast and wifi and I was disappointed. It was also very stinky. I wouldn't recommend it.

We have been to this hotel many times and are always impressed with the central location, the excellent cafeteria, the reasonable prices, comfortable rooms and, most of all, the continuing courtesy and friendliness of the staff.

I returned to the Reina Cristina for my third visit of 4 nights and remain a huge fan of the hotel. The reception staff, especially Mari Luz, greet me warmly and my room in the newer section meets all my standards for cleanliness, bed and shower. The location for viewing processions is excellent, for they pass a block away going to the nearby cathedral. Morning coffee in the coffee shop or the nearby plaza is a must. The location is also excellent for visiting sights in Granada.

We have just returned from a 5 day stay at the hotel Reina Cristina, the check in was quick and we had a lovely room 209 on the second floor. The room was of a good size with 2 single beds which were very comfortable there was a balcony flat screen TV and coffee making facilities although there was only enough coffee for 4cups with a cost of 5â?¬ to restock which with the cost of 40â?¬ for the rent of a room safe I found excessive, the bathroom was of a good size with an excellent shower with plen... A short 15 to 20 min enjoyable walk from the train station and central to the main areas of Granada. Hotel is old so don't expect a modern 4 or 5 star hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful and very enthusiastic! The hotel is clean with smallish rooms with free Wfi, the tv is around 2 times the size of a iPad with limited English channels, but remember you came for the sites and culture outside. Beds are comfortable but the room can be noisy from the outside from around 4am until 6am as the... Read more

This hotel has the feel of a place that was once great, but almost belongs to another era. The service from the waiting staff was fautless. Rooms are clean, high ceilings, and quiet ( but we were visiting off season). Hairdyer , which looked vintage, didn't work. Great central location, very easy walking distance to Cathedral. The cafe/ bar which was open to the public was always busy with locals which indicates the quality of food, drink and service. Do NOT book into room 309, which had a perva... Read more
