We stayed at the end of Jan/beginning of Feb for a 4 night stay. If you are looking for a "no frills" hotel which offers a clean, basic but very comfortable room with a really lovely and unlimited breakfast - here is the place. For the price we paid we got good value for money. We payed around 35? for taxi from the airport to get to the hotel! The location is perfect, next to the metro and 2 roads to walk up to get to Catalunya square and La Rambla. Perfect for sight seeing and we did use the ... Read more

I visited with my husband for a weekend break in Barcelona. The receptionists were very nice. The room was quite small but clean and had all we needed. Good location, close to underground. Breakfast was nice and unlimited. Overall good value for money.

Pros: i) Hotel Location : you can take the subway or buses for sightseeing. You also can do it on foot. ii) Hotel reception: Staff was friendly and helpful. We had an opportunity to meet Avegail who provided necessary information for our sightseeing. Her working attitude was professional and sincere towards hotel guests. iii) Cafeteria service: Staff was hardworking and effective in providing breakfast for all hotel guests. Cons: i) Although we were given a rather quiet room, we could hear... Read more

I stayed for 4 nights with my classmates and teachers on our senior school trip. The location was quite good since the metro was close enough and the city centre was at a walkable distance. The receptionists were very kind and solved our issues easily enough. I stayed in a quadruple room, but the problem was that two beds were real uncomfortable bed whereas the other two were also uncomfortable but they were not even beds, they were camp bed's. The food could have been better, it can be really i... Read more

If you're here for a quick fire visit, an event maybe, where sleep isn't much of a consideration, go ahead and book. It's cheap, you can walk everywhere. Finding anything else remotely positive is difficult. Usually when people say 'paper thin walls' you think they are exaggerating, that it won't be that bad. I promise you - these are the thinnest walls I've ever stepped foot in. Teenagers on phones in hall ways, playing music. The room next door turning on the tap so loud I thought someone wa... The hotel is less than a 5-minute walk from San Antoni metro station. From there you can go directly to Sagrada Familia and, with a few connections, all other places of interest. However, you will definitely need to bring your earplugs to sleep. I requested a high room at the back of the hotel hoping to avoid street noise. It was not the street noise that was the problem. You can literally hear everyone in other rooms sneezing, coughing, and flushing. I have never stayed in a place with such ... Read more

We stayed for 3 nights and found it welcoming and clean. The rooms do need updating but they where clean and the staff was very helpful. I don't like over eager staff wanting to get tipped all the time. So this hotel was ideal for me . left alone to come and go as we pleased but on hand and visible if you needed them. Same routine as a travelodge or ibis.Breakfast was basic continental with no limits on amounts, enough to start the day.Great basic hotel. only thing missing was tea and coffee ma... Read more

The location is ok and you can find a subway station within 5 min walk. the room we got was ok but very clean. Breakfast was a good surprise for us and we had it every day. The hotel looks and feels old, but the price was very good for us so we booked it.

Location is advantage for this low cost hotel managed by Philippines. Me and my friend stayed 2 nights (24 - 25 Oct) and the receptionist gave us a clean room (609). But the bathroom is very small and the smell in bathroom is really terrible and vile: sink was clogged. I pointed out the problem to the receptionist and thank God they solved the problem. When you get out of the small bath tub you have to jump over the toilet bowl. First time i risked to fall down. Breakfast is ok: fruits, crois... Read more
