Second time I have stayed here, but both times in the executive room. First time was business, this my 2nd time was personal. although I had already booked a standard, I was automatically upgraded to executive. Actually both rooms are fine, big and comfortable. The main issues for me are: 1) central heating , and the remote control lighting takes a while to get used to (unless used to staying in Korean hotels). 2) the quite thin walls - hearing my neighbours 3) The sauna has seen better days, an... Nice room with all convenient facilities. You can use 4th floor lounge for executive room. Breakfast is decent. Airport limousine bus stop is just right in the front of the hotel. I stay this hotel several times during business trip.

We are currently staying at this property, and if there is one word to describe the room we are in is "OUTDATED". There appears to be 2 types of rooms here deluxe/executive and standard. We booked through hotels.com and with this property, the saying of "you get what you pay for" runs true. And it wasn't cheap either seeing that we are here through Christmas. I can't comment on the other rooms, but we were checked in to a standard room. Don't be fooled by the grand lobby or the updated publ... Read more

The Kensington was the overflow hotel for a recent conference. I was on the fifth floor, a "standard" floor. I somewhat wonder if this review would be that much different if I'd been on one of the other floors. When I stay at a hotel, I care about a small number of things. Two of the fundamentals are covered, but to cut this to TL;DR: Look elsewhere. The bed was comfortable and was clean. The pillows were comfy too. The bathroom started my six days clean, but they basically gave up trying ... Read more

This hotel contains two parts, one is renovated "executive" or "deluxe" floors, and the other - "standard floors". I lived on "standard floor", so I have got an incredible impressions from this so-called "5-star" hotel. Starting from the check-in, check-in hour is 3pm, otherwise "room is not ready". Ok, waited for 3pm, got the key, entered the room - what a mess?! Room is not ready. Staff on the floor looks deeply surprised that this room should be ready up to check-in time. Half an hour walking... Read more

Located at the wonderful business district of Yeouido, the hotel has a great English hotel look. The staff are smartly dressed and good to look at and the hotel and it's restaurants are featured regularly in Korean soaps. The buffet is very good with an Asian touch but is very repetitive, remaining unchanged. Loved the konjee and the fresh cappuccinos. However, the staff do not speak English and are not very trained in dealing with international guests or business travellers. The hotels air cond... Read more

So... how should I start? I'm so disappointed to stay here for another 10 days. We booked a standard room in a 4* hotel. For me a 4* hotel means that you have a good hotel and that it should be clean right? But our room is so... ugh... we have stains on the walls and the floor. We have even some water stains. The water on the fridge are out of date. We even have molt in the bathroom. I'm really afraid that I will get sick when I stay here any longer The staff can't speak English. E... Read more

I stayed in this landmark place a number of times but was never impressed by this mid size hotel. But this time, I was genuinely surprised by a renovation my room showed. It's in a tasteful black and leather motif, maintaining its renowned NewYork character. Most of all, everything in the room not only worked but also beautifully appointed.

We stayed in an executive room for one night and it was way better than what I expected. I really liked the room and breakfast was so nice. Each food was nice and fresh. Well located, quite, attentive and relaxing. Worth it.
