We booked Madinah Marriot during Ramadhan as it was the best price we could find during this busy period. Me, my wife and my daughter (whose 2 years of age) stayed here in a 2x Double bedroom for a week. You can see the minarets of the prophetâ??s mosque from the room we stayed in. The hotel is quite old and is in need of a desperate refurbishment. We didnâ??t include the breakfast/suhoor in our stay as we were eating out for iftar and suhoor. The hotel staff are very friendly and are always wil... Read more

The checkin was fast and efficient. The room was spacious for 2 guests. It's good to make use of the shuttle service because it cuts down the time to reach the Prophet's SAW mosque. The staff friendly and helpful. Would have appreciated it if the breakfast was included in the price.

So me and my family decided to stay at this hotel over the Eid Al-Adha break (we live in Saudi Arabia) because Madinah would be empty (Hajj pilgrims would all be in Makkah). There was a good deal going with the hotel and it had decent reviews, so we took a chance and booked. Before I carry on, it's important to note that I try incredibly hard to be as fair as I possibly can with any review I write. With that in mind, I have to say that for a five-star hotel, Marriot Madinah was just overall a po... Read more

The booking clerk was completely uncooperative; they deducted half the booking value before I arrived at the hotel, and they canceled the booking without contacting me. I regretted booking at this hotel

Overall it was a good experience with goods and bads Goods Room cleaning was good with perfect timing on your choice to get the room clean. Shuttle service was always there for pick and drop from hotel to Haram Perfect location of the room with perfect view of Haram Walking distance to Haram not even required shuttle service Bad Worse ever possible iftar I had in my life with sky high price of 360 SR just for 2 adults and a child. Juices, desert and main course meal all were literally screwe... Read more

Nothing about this hotel meets Marriott standards. You can't even designate it as Courtyard Marriott. It is a run down hotel which needs a full renovation top to bottom. After speaking with hotel manager he confirmed the hotel is due for a full renovation and unfortunately until it begins this is what they are working with. It was good to hear that property will be up to Marriott standards at some point. The staff were very nice and pleasant. The location is very near Haram about 7 min walk. Th... Read more

The hotel located in the central area of the masjed alnabawi. The check in experience was excellent and room allocation was great. This was done by the receptionist Amar. The furniture is a bit old and need to be refurbished. The restaurant is not as expected, the tables distribution and the ambiance .. overall, acceptable with great potential for improvement,,

Not the best Marriott I have stayed in. Check-in process was ok but had communication issue with front-desk person. Room was good sized however lot of traffic noise and curtains did not cover the windows completely. Hotel provided shuttle to Haram but you still need to walk. Hotel is about half a kilometer from gate 6 of Haram so with young kids it was not always easy to go back and forth. Breakfast had a lot of options but few things did not seem fresh.

Went there as a family in November. There were several negatives, which is a bit uncharacteristic of Marriott standards. We weren't greeted warmly at all at the reception which was a bit disappointing. I asked for a high floor room at the time of reservation to avoid the traffic noise but got one on the second floor. The rooms are small and outdated, the shower was poor (the plumbing infrastructure needs urgent renovation), and the third bed in the room was a poorly placed single bed next to s... Read more

Nicely located hotel in reference to the Holy Masjid al Nabwee. Currently undergoing some renovation according to the sign post inside. Not sure where. Breakfast is great and the staff are very friendly. The room windows need better sealing as they don't shut tightly and therefore can be on the noisy side from traffic outside .
