Invited to a wedding and went a few days earlier. The resort is gorgeous with amazing views, plenty of activities, pools or just plain R&R. Be sure to reserve a seat on the boat to Gilligan's Island (take snorkel gear from the resort with you). The staff is attentive and very helpful - they did such an amazing job with the wedding! Food was so delicious that I returned the following week just for dinner. Different vibe than hotels in San Juan (stayed in Isla Verde last year) and I found it ... Read more

Wonderful place to stay. Amazing locale. Daily trips to Gilligans Island. Food was great, service outstanding. My only gripe was that adjoining room door is too thin and the sound from your neighbor comes into your room sometimes too loud. Rooms where beautiful with doors to the outside beach. The beach near the shore is no good for swimming (muddy), go to the end of the dock and jump in and swim there or to their swim platform. A little pricey because of all the PR fees and taxes, if not for th... Read more

The Mrs. and I was told about Guanica from a friend. The hotel was gorgeous!!! Seriously! The staff was excellent. The room was clean. The WiFi worked not only in the room, but all over the property including the beach. And the views...the views. Wow! The only negatives is you really can't swim on their beach. Too much mud and sea weed. But you can walk down to the public beach which is about 300 yards away. The public park was closed Monday, so we had the beach to ourselves! Also, BRING DRINKS ... We spent two peaceful nights here, away from the bustle of San Juan. The grounds and views are beautiful. It was so relaxing sitting in the outdoor dining area, looking out over the sea, the tall palms and watching the sky grow dark. Food was good, service excellent, home made ginger ice cream a must try. At breakfast, the small fruit plate was a nice addition for the 3 of us to share. They were happy to customize it for us so we could have only fruits from Puerto Rico. I'm still thinking ... Read more

My wife and I spent an excellent week end (Fri-Sun) @ Copamarina. The attention and service we received from EVERY employee (house keeping, waiters, front desk, etc) was superb. We have been in many hotels in different parts of the United States and other countries, and I can say that this was one of the greatest experiences we had regarding attention and service. We stayed in an ocean front room, waking up to that view was spectacular. Room was fresh and clean. This is a great place for a relax... Read more

The property is away from the city and offers tranquility. You can enjoy live music around the bar and stimulate your taste buds with their tasty pizza. The other food is good too. The restaurant has decent food.

This was my first time in Puerto Rico! And we stayed here for two nights. It was truly a peaceful location and serene beach. It's not a typical beach so you can only go up to your waste in the water but then it gets deeper. Go to the island that is close for the day! It's beautiful

Staying at the Copamarina was something that I carefully researched. It was a lovely place and the service was excellent. The reception desk was good. The restaurant staff was warm and welcoming. The hostess, Sonia, asked us how our snorkeling trip was, the bartender knew what drink I enjoyed at the end of the night, and our favorite waitress, Karixa was very sweet. Captain Frank, Filipe, and his crew were awesome when he took us to Gilligan's Island, snorkeling, and to the bioluminescent b... Read more
