This hotel was right in the tourist hub of Lisbon so location couldn't be beaten. It is quite old fashioned with it's out dated decor but excellent value. Just be careful due to its location it was noisy early in the morning and late at night.

Located on Rua Augusta, Lisbon's lively pedestrian-only street in the Baixa neighbourhood, this hotel is as central as can be. As soon as you step outside, you will find an almost overwhelming number of restaurants and cafes. They are located right along Rua Augusta, as well as on the next streets. The whole area is a hub for restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, street performers and clothing shops like H&M, Zara, and Bershka. If this sounds touristy, yes it is, but the convenience of the loc... The hotel is okay. Why would you stay in the hotel the whole day anyway? You're in the centro! But still, i agree with almost every review under me. Pros: - Location is great - Easy reachable with metro & aerobus from the airport. - Good price - Breakfast is alright - Despite what some say about noisy streets at night, I Cons: - Looked quite old - They advertise with a big room but you get a small one - Noisy, you hear everything outside your door - Door to the balcony is very hard to open, I... Small and unconfortable bathroom, hardly sit on the toilet. Breakfast is ok. Else is ok, hotel is located in the center of the city near to everything and its easy to find it. For that price worth it.

The hotel was very easily found .we arrived in Lisbon by the Metro from the airport and our hotel was a very short walk down the hill and right in the centre of the town. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady ( who also spoke good English) she checked us quickly in and guided us to our room. We were on the first floor ,corner room. The room was small, but clean and neat.(maybe a little too small if staying longer). We found the room more than adequate. Bathroom very small, but also clean ... Read more

My sister and I stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago and were very happy with the experience. It's clean and comfortable, with a "normal" European breakfast included in the price. Normal means coffee, tea, jucies, yogurts, fruit and sliced veggies, about 8 varieties of rolls and breads, butter, jam, sliced cheeses and ham. Quite satisfactory, but nothing fancy. The location is terrific. Right in the heart of Chiado-Baxia, walking distance to the No.23 tram that takes you into both Barrio ... Read more

Literally the only thing the hotel has going for them is the location and that's what they are capitalising on. What is horrible is not that the room was incredibly small and pokey and non-air conditioned and old looking- that a person can accept provided we know that's what we are paying for. What is truly horrid is that every single site online(their own website included) they have posted pictures of luxurious huge rooms. So from the very first moment you walk into the room you are constantly... Read more

For the money i paid it was worth it. The info desk were nice and accomodating. The hotel looks outdated but it was clean enough. A new elevator would have improve the overall look. If you want to see the old (downtown) Lissabon then this is a perfect location.
