The hotel is in a good location in the centre of Lisbon. But it is very old, the room was to small to open the suitcases. In the bathroom is is almost impossible to pass the bath and get to the toilet. The bedlinnen was very dirty, with hairs end stains. No airco, an old ventilator with lots of dust. Opening the window was no option, because of a lot of noise and baking smells coming in. Breakfast was horrible as well. The elevator didnot stop on the right floor one time.

The location is very good. Apart from the friendly receptionists, one of whom had little, if any, local knowledge, we could not recommend this hotel to anyone. Indeed it is NOT a hotel. It IS a bed and breakfast solely, there being no facilities, or bar. The room was tiny and not well thought out. The bathroom was a mystery - the mystery being how anyone with common sense could plan it. It was IMPOSSIBLE to sit on the loo because of the tiny space between the seat and the wall, made worse by the... Read more

Very small room, no aircondition, water stucked in the sink, Bulbs in the bathroom not switching on, bed sheets dirty, got stuck in lift and had to wait for a whole hour to get out and to make matters worse lift did not work for a whole 3 days. Imagine had to stay going up and down till the 4th. floor all the time even for our departure. Total disaster. To be honest only 2 things were ok the location of the hotel just there at the centre and the wifi.

ooked 3 x triple rooms at the end of September. Definitely a budget room as the rooms were very small and required updating but the staff were friendly and the continental breakfast was lovely. The luggage rooms were a godsend whilst we waitied for check in or to leave Lisboa. The old style lift is definitely an experience. Extremely central with plenty going on in the area...a perfect base.

Hotel was in good location in that it is central to numerous attractions, shopping and bars. However, because there is no climate control the windows are open to let in all of the "culture" including smoke, smell, noise etc. from the busy street, I am not sure this is a plus. We never made it to our room. The lobby was iffy at best. We went upstairs to wait for our room to be prepared and saw the condition of the walls, floors, and bathroom (which was a single dreadful unisex toilet for use b... Read more

The rooms shown in the photos of the Hotel are part of the refurbished part of the hotel and are clean and new, which is very deceiving of the company compared to what we received. It felt like we were staying in a run-down hostel rather than a hotel. We were very disappointed with our two rooms. The hotel receptionist was rude and unhelpful when we complained about issues with our rooms. We were unable to speak to a Manager or move rooms. In one of the bathrooms there was no space to get out o... Read more

This hotel was right in the tourist hub of Lisbon so location couldn't be beaten. It is quite old fashioned with it's out dated decor but excellent value. Just be careful due to its location it was noisy early in the morning and late at night.

Located on Rua Augusta, Lisbon's lively pedestrian-only street in the Baixa neighbourhood, this hotel is as central as can be. As soon as you step outside, you will find an almost overwhelming number of restaurants and cafes. They are located right along Rua Augusta, as well as on the next streets. The whole area is a hub for restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, street performers and clothing shops like H&M, Zara, and Bershka. If this sounds touristy, yes it is, but the convenience of the loc... The hotel is okay. Why would you stay in the hotel the whole day anyway? You're in the centro! But still, i agree with almost every review under me. Pros: - Location is great - Easy reachable with metro & aerobus from the airport. - Good price - Breakfast is alright - Despite what some say about noisy streets at night, I Cons: - Looked quite old - They advertise with a big room but you get a small one - Noisy, you hear everything outside your door - Door to the balcony is very hard to open, I...
