This is on a quiet street a short half block from Avenue Libertade, the Champs d'elise of Portugal. (I hope Google spell-check is working.) Staff was helpful, price was moderate, hotel was comfortable in every respect, and just a great location. Breakfast buffet is very good, in pleasant setting. We stayed six nights and would return.

Staff were all very helpful and friendly, spoke excellent English. Manager booked us a superb restaurant for birthday, Sacramento, superb food and reasonably priced. Hotel provided a bottle of Fizz in room. Free water in lounge all day and evening Only downside was the view of derelict buildings and as we were close to the lifts, noisy guests late at night - not hotels fault.

Front desk staff all very pleasant , and helpful especially the manager who went out of his way to help us catch the last bus tour for the day , .Lobby/ receiving room and dining room tastefully decorated . Excellent choices for breakfast . Very quiet area yet , hotel within walking distance to shops, malls and Hop on Hop off tour buses stops . It was such a welcome change from the chaotic flight from Rome (TAP) extremely noisy passengers , delayed flight and lost luggage . Would highly recomme... Read more

Absolutely amazing!!! Hotel Lisboa's personnel were all warm and welcoming, the edifice itself - tastefully decorated. Details like vaulted ceilings, crown moldings, lighting fixtures, to the tiniest details were very well thought of. The breakfast buffet had a variety of excellent selection, all scrumptious with a wee garden if you sit by the window. The cleanliness and coziness of the rooms added to our pleasurable stay. But most importantly, Sr. Joaquim Rua and his staff bent over backwa... Read more

This hotel is a cool calm oasis in central Lisbon. Easy to walk to all central Lisbon or bus tops for further excursions. Breakfast was fantastic. Room were cool and quiet. There was always fresh ice cold water available for free (or coffee if you prefer) the staff were fantastic. It??s got a great period style lots of marble decor, it takes a long long time to develop a traditional hotel and the Hotel Lisboa Plaza has managed it gloriously.

In a great location. Old style hotel. Bathroom was tiny and very cramped. I personally did not like it as I prefer more modern rooms. Check-in was great and the people working the desk were helpful. Breakfast was not too great, a bit shabby. Personally wouldn't stay here again.

My partner and I stayed here in July. The location was absolutely perfect for getting to all of the sights and transport was close by. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and our room clean and comfortable. The rooms seem a little dated but staff said it was in keeping with Portuguese style. Breakfast had plenty of choice including a chocolate fountain and cava if you desired. I think the price we were charged by Monarch for our 3 night stay was over-inflated and will shop aroun... We stayed in this hotel for 1 night and I do not recommend staying there. They called themselves boutique but I will describe it more as a 2 star with a nice lobby and great location. The rooms smell like your old grandma attic and the bed is the tiniest bed ever. I??m 5.3 ft(1.55 cm) and my husband is about 5.8 ft and we barely fit in that bed. I can??t imagine what would it be for a larger size couple. Overpriced for 2 star hotel! We also stayed in their sister hotel (heritage lisbon) and th... Read more

A hotel with distinctive character and pleasant service. Here you live in the middle of the city and can experience all that Lisbon has to offer. The hotel is helpful with information and maps to find out what you want to see. Can recommend walking on old cobbles, seeing street art and graffiti and eating or drinking wine and port wine at the many good restaurants in the area. A beautiful city to visit - and the hotel gives you the comfort you want.
