This was a very nice small hotel. We came in after a long trip and were delighted to see our room. I think that we must have been upgraded to the suite. The bed was very comfortable, clean and attractive. Everything was clean. Nice front desk help and information. A good breakfast with eggs cooked to order. It is a little far away from the center but it is walking distance. We had a back room. It was quiet. A nice place to return to after visiting the central historic district or othe... Read more

We stayed at the Golden Inca for a total of 4 nights. It was clean, inexpensive, and breakfast was provided. They even made us sack breakfasts for the mornings we left early. It is about a 15 minute walk to the square; however, 5 of us crammed into a taxi for 5 Soles (total) for our trip back. No frills, but met our needs for the little time we spent at the hotel. The staff was very accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Golden Inca. We liked the location and the staff was fabulous. They did forget to send a taxi to pick us up at the airport which was disappointing but the taxi services from the hotel were exceptional. At night the streets were quiet, but occasionally noises within the hotel would echo. We took an over night trip to Machu Pichu and were very happy that we could store our large luggage at the hotel and that they would arrange transit for us to the train station a... Read more

I used this hotel as a stop-over on the way to Machu Pichu. It felt like a hostel as opposed to a hotel. The rooms were reasonably priced, basic with a bed and extra blankets for Cusco's cold evenings and a simple breakfast. The concierge- the only staff member to speak English- was extremely helpful and knowledgable. The hotel is a 5sole taxi to the centre and 15 mins to the airport. Hot water and coca leaves in the lobby at all times to help with the altitude. Mini market a door away. Basic bu... Read more

Firstly, i booked this hotel a day before I needed to stay these (December 2016) and got a good price with a discount too. It was the cheapest hotel in Cusco and included breakfast and a lift to the airport the next day. It offers oxygen for those who need it and is a quick taxi ride from teh town centre. I went for a great, cheap tour of the city and other places - it was very worth it. The town in safe too and I travelled alone (I am a girl) at night. The hotel has WiFi, excellent, friendl... I spent 2 nights at this hotel in Cusco, and, even if it is really small, they have very good service. The rooms are cozy and the breakfast is good. I was here in a family trip and this was just an stop in my way to Machu Picchu. I truly recommend this place. I want to make an special mention to the tour guy Jose, who was very helpful in our travel in Cusco.

This hotel is such a good value. The rooms are clean with heat and hot water in the sink (a rarity in budget accomodations). Good breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. The only negative for me was a bit long walk to the center, part of the way on very narrow sidewalks.

They blamed us for a little crack in our window when we didn't do it and made us pay 150 soles for them to fix it. Our friends staying in the room directly above us had glass in their bed proving it was something thrown at the windows from the outside to break them and they still wouldn't agree that it wasn't our fault. We also had ants in our beds (picture attached) and we had to argue for them to clean the room top to bottom. They wanted to say it was our fault for the ants because we probably... Read more
