We stayed here before and after our Inca trail hike to Machu Picchu. The place is small, quaint and clean. The rooms are basic and was surprised that additional towels are not provided nor could we find any tissues in the room. All of the items on the complimentary breakfast tables were fresh and delicious. A place to consider when visiting Cusco.

If you are second guessing, do yourself a favor and book. From the beautiful courtyards, flowers and grounds to the the amazing breakfast and comfortable, friendly hospitality, Rumi Punku was PERFECTION - so much so we stayed twice! Here's why: -Free airport pick-up that was easy, friendly and on-time - Comfiest beds in Peru (10 day trip) and amazing water pressure and heat - Delish bfast - made to order eggs, fresh pressed juices, glorious pastries, yogurts, jams---- I pick hotels based o... Breakfast is not to be missed. The front desk will book drivers and each time they were knowledgeable nice people. We booked a van as there were 6 of us and we made several stops on the way to Machu Pichu visiting the salt flats and other Inca ruins. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and clean. I recommend Hotel Rumi 5 star and a great value as well.

We stayed during the quiet season. The hotel is on a quiet street with easy walking to the center. The hotel is very charming. Lots of pretty courtyards. The rooms comfortable, good wifi, and water pressure in the shower. Staff were very helpful and let us check out late. Breakfast was adequate but not wonderful.

We stayed at Rumi Punku for three nights in December 2017 between Christmas and New Year's. It was wonderful, and I would return again in a flash. The environment is charming, the service excellent and friendly, and the breakfast is fabulous. My daughter and I also had a massage--one of the best ever! It also quiet and the beds are very comfortable.

Ok, Let's start with the best thing (for me) about staying here, the breakfast buffet. This is now the "Gold Standard" in breakfast buffets anywhere in the world for me! Let me count the ways: The only fresh squeezed orange juice I had in Peru! There were other fresh squeezed juices, the best was the Passion fruit juice! I'm almost a fruitarian, and the quality of the Mangoes, Papayas, and other fresh cut fruit was superb. Good croissants and eggs. If you have to leave very early on a trek or si... Read more

We stayed here for a night after our hike and this is exactly what we needed - a clean, comfortable, spacious room and delicious breakfast the morning after. We loved it. Wish we had stayed here for more nights.

The Rumi Punku is a beautiful, well maintained, clean hotel in the hear of Cusco. Its close to shops, restaurants and sites. We stayed here three nights and the staff was friendly and attentive. The room was clean, the shared areas are clean, well maintained and just beautiful. Cost wise, it is at the high end for Peru, but extremely low priced compared to similar quality hotels in the US.
