Stay with my best friend while in Cusco. We loved it. The room was TINY, but we squeezed in and enjoyed our stay. Very clean and chic. We would sit on our balcony overlooking the front entrances and watch the hummingbirds all morning. They have a reasonable laundry service and also have a hot tub on the top floor that you can reserve. Highly recommend, especially if you've walked to the White Jesus on top of town that day.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my girlfriend while visiting Machu Picchu. The hotel is small as are the rooms, but it's fine and good value for money. The bathroom was fine with a large walk in shower. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel except for having an avocado dish as room service when we arrived - which was lovely!! The breakfast was very nice with omelette cooked for you as well as bread, cheese, ham, some salad and then cereals and yoghurt. For drinks there were juices, coffee and vari... Read more

We stayed in Encantada for 2 nights. It's a small, boutique hotel (18 rooms, I think they said.) It is right at the top of the hill in the Old Cusco (San Blas district) within walking distance of the main square and the rest of the old town. The staff was great and very helpful, nice breakfast, charming lobby, clean rooms and a FANTASTIC view of the city from the terrace.

Nice little place tucked away on the top of the hill in San Blas Neighborhood. My wife was pretty sick during the stay, and they were so accommodating to her needs. The massages were great. Neighborhood outside can get a little lively on the weekends. Nice restaurants and good coffee nearby.

My room was on the third floor. Wifi would not work - I tried three different sets of wifi codes and passwords. It worked fine in the lobby. Upon entry to the room, it smelled terrible (like sewage). This smell was present each evening. After showering, the entire bathroom ceiling was totally wet and dripping everywhere. The hot water bottles in the bed were nice, but one leaked all over my friend's bed before we arrived, so she had a wet bed. They double charged my credit card. Luckily I ca... Read more

I was highly impressed with our stay here. We stayed for two nights before our Salkantay trek and one night after. Upon arrival they brought tea and took our bags straight to our room. We took advantage of the spa and have a lovely massage the next day. I loved how this place was set a bit away from the central area. It was so quiet and peaceful. The view also was wonderful thanks to it's location. If you are planning to do the hike you certainly can manage the few blocks to get to town from thi... Read more

We stayed here on and off throughout our week long visit to the Cusco Region. Best parts of the hotel were the view, proximity to the main areas of Cusco (restaurants, shops, historical sights) and a highly accommodating staff. They served a daily basic breakfast - highlights from this included the fresh squeezed juices and local bread. The lobby and main areas were quiet, however a little cold in the mornings and evenings. This hotel accommodates those who have an active schedule in the Cusco a... Read more

Stayed here for one night before starting the Inca Trail and for one night after finishing. The hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes walk to many restaurants and attractions in Cusco. The room was very cozy and comfortable and we loved hanging out on the outside terrace. We were able to store our extra baggage for the five days we were hiking which was awesome. We definitely plan on coming back!

When we first arrived we received the best welcoming and helpful orientation we have ever received and we've done a lot of traveling. The room was great with a small balcony overlooking the city. The room was clean and extremely comfortable with nice shower and amenities. They even delivered a hot water bottle before bedtime, it wasn't really cold outside, just another nice touch! We left so early we couldn't enjoy the full breakfast but what we had was great. The location is also great, within ... Read more
