Very expensive, greedy hotel. Thirty euro per day parking, twenty five euro standard breakfast, expensive limited bar and dining options with medium beer seven euro! They want to fleece you just because its a business hotel fairly close to RAI. Some rooms look over canal (others car park and a big concrete hall view) but its not such a pretty view as a petrol station is right opposite. Rooms okay and modern, decent size but old, small TV not many channels, noisy waterworks, strange bed think i... Read more

Last week I decided to spend the night at the Apollo Hotel with my boyfriend. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Front office staff just excellent! We stayed at one of the enhanced rooms in the basement. The room has this little stairs that brings you to a lovely seat where you have an idyllic view over the canals. During the evening we had dinner at The Harbour Club Kitchen and were served by Ashley who did an excellent job in refilling our glasses. The food was delicious and the a... Read more

The room smelled funky when we arrived. Must have been something the room service used to clean the room. Hotel staff promptly came to our rescue with a bottle of air freshener which they left in case we would need more of it but on the next day the room service lady had taken it away and the funky smell was back. The wifi only worked in one particular corner of our room. They lock the main door at night and you have to actually knock to get in which is not very convenient. Look, it's 4 AM, we'r... Read more

Been here during a weekend in Amsterdam for one night. Placed a bit outside the centre of Amsterdam 10 minutes walking to the first tram stop. In 5 minutes from there you join the museum area and in 10 minutes the centre. Staff is really nice, professional, ready to help you in any situation. Rooms are okay, huge enough but a bit anonymous and cold (maybe it was only my AC that didn‚??t work so well). The structure is not so modern but I have seen some work in progress in a specific area of the ... Read more

A warm welcome at the reception by Mrs. Leanne who made me feel very welcome was the beginning of a satisfying 4 night stay. The Clefs d‚??Or staff is always a guarantee to a good service, and the Apollo was no exception. My (as a SPG member) free upgraded) room had a nice view but felt a bit outdated. A slow elevator confirmed that this part will need an upgrade. The breakfast has a big variation and can be considered complete and goo. From the hotel to the RAI it takes only a 7‚?¨ cab ride. ... Wonderful hotel, great bar for chilling by the fire. Very friendly efficient staff. Rooms are spotless as is the whole building. The taxi shuttle service to airport is brilliant! It is a short cab ride to most places , but worth it for the oasis of calm that the hotel provides. Would deffo stay here again .
