We stayed here for two nights- $540 for two nights- the place is being renovated and scaffolding surrounding the whole building. We were not informed of this- prior to booking- the rooms are small no AC although a heat and fan in cupboard-the bathroom had to be seen to be believed - so small and a step up from the main area. The ‚??FULL‚?? breakfast was disgusting - stale bread rolls and a choice of stale scrambled eggs or boiled eggs. There was jam and butter but the rolls and croissants were... Read more

If you are thinking of traveling to Amsterdam before the end of this year. Find another hotel to stay in. This place was prices well and round about the same as the others in the area. When we arrived we found the building to be under heavy construction works, we were not informed of this. Our 1st morning we arrived and our room was not to be expected (very misleading photos) but we thought nothing of it as it was our time to be exploring the beautiful city. Roll on 8:30am the next morning and a... Read more

Poor hygiene have got 12 bed bug bites and tried saying I owed an extra ‚?¨500 on arrival when it was paid already in advance. I‚??ve made a complaint with no joy they are blaming mosquitoes when there‚??s an obvious difference in the bites

Staff are friendly and i found it a great place to stay, in a quieter part, but within walking distance of rembrandt square and the red light district. My room was nice and clean and looked fairly new, i had scaffolding outside my window so didn't have a great view but thats a minor thing for me. Would definitely stay here again. If you go to Amsterdam , you have to do the Heineken experience and the Ice bar.

An average hotel, not spectacularly cheap. Location is not great, I took taxis to Centraal station, I guess one could use the tram if you can figure out how that works. Hotel doesn't have a bar or restaurant although there are a couple of decent looking bars and restaurants at the nearby crossroads. Breakfast was ok, not outstanding or remarkable. Hotel is clad in scaffolding but the works didn't affect me, except that a couple of pigeons roosted on the scaffold outside my room and cooed loudly ... Read more

Good location and friendly staff, decent rooms but no bath. Rooms were clean and changed everyday, it's definitely worth the stay. Only about a mile from the city centre, lots to do especially with friends yeah!

Check In guy was great, location is okay and Wi-Fi works well. However, my room was super tiny, loud noises were to hear from adjacent rooms and especially the bathroom. On my first day, a truck was unloading a scaffold and workers began building it up 7am. Out of my four nights, I did not sleep through even once. Woke up all the time because of noises from other rooms, the corridor or outside. Checking out was somewhat unpleasant and no questions regarding my staying were asked. Would not recom... Read more

For location this hotel is ideal, it's a 10 minute walk from Rembrandt Square so you're not right in the middle of it all, but it's within walking distance, which means no paying out for taxis! The location location is quiet, the staff are so attentive and friendly and there are lovely cafes round ans about the hotel. The rooms are clean and the maids come in every day and leave a chocolate on your bed. Plus it is practically opposite the zoo! So pleased with the hotel all round, will definitely... Read more

It wasn't the best hotel I've stayed at, the room was surprisingly small, and getting a small double meant two singles which resulted in one of us sleeping in the gap through the night. Furthermore the bathroom was so tiny, and every time we used the shower the floor would get soaked as it had a curtain instead of a screen. I personally think it was over priced for what it was. On the bright side it wasn't too far from amsterdam central and was opposite the zoo.
