Riad Nabila was a small haven of calm in a manic trip to marrakech. Staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful (a little easier if you speak French). Breakfasts were simple but delicious. The courtyard was pretty and charming, peaceful and a nice place to hang out. The room was charming, slightly crumbly walls but nothing upsetting. Bin hadn‚??t been emptied since last person, and sink was a bit grubby - but felt like if I was bothered enough to complain it would be fixed. Overall this riad... Read more

Shortly before arrival, we were notified we couldn't stay here because they had an unspecified problem and had to put us in another riad (Riad KA). That one was very nice and we were supposed to pay the same price. However, riad Nabila charged 30% in advance (£13 pounds) and we were obliged to pay the total at Riad KA. More than month and several email exchanges later, I still haven't got the refund from Nabila. Every week they ask for more time to make the refund. On top of these delay tactics... Read more

Love this place. It's very clean, stuff is very helpful. Location is awesome. I recommend it for all travelers. They are have free and fast wifi. The riad is located a little far from the square, but for me it was rather a dignity. There is the ability to go deeper into the real life of the medina.

This riad is a very nice place and offers amazing service! Our receptionist by night was very welcoming and always had a smile. We stayed here for two nights and found no complaints with the place. The one problem was the location as it's towards the north of the medina and getting to the souk and the big square was not a short walk.

We booked here for 8 nights. We wanted to stay in the Medina and saw lots of good reviews of this place. The staff was very nice and helpful and we enjoyed the simple, but good breakfast each morning. Some of the decorations could use updating, but again, I think this is what you should expect at this price level. If you like a softer bed, then realize that this is more on the firm side. We have traveled all over and finding a soft bed is not easy. The wifi worked good in the public areas on... Read more

The Riad is very nice, very clean and the staff is very helpful and nice. The room wasn't isolated so it was very cold even though the air conditioner (heat mode) was on. The wifi signal is very bad. The Riad is far from the main square Jemma El Fna which means yo have to go through the old Medina at night which is lonely and that's not a great feeling at all

The staff here is just so helpful and kind. The interior space is very beautiful, with an dreamlike ambience of traditional maghreb architecture. Rooms are basic but comfortable and very tasteful in moroccan tradition. The area and location of the riad were perfect for our purpose, placed in the older part of the medina. 20 minutes walk from Jeema el Fna, but the advantage is that you get away from the intense city centre. A gem !

As other have said, this is a beautiful oasis of calm and tranquility after a day around the Medina. It is so peaceful to sit by the pool under a palm tree or on the roof terrace with some mint tea in the evening. The room and facilities were beautiful and clean. I had absolutely no complaints. It was slightly further away from the Medina than some of the Riads but it was an easy walk or only £5 in a taxi if needed. I would totally recommend this Riad.

Inside the riad everything was faultless - the rooms were big and comfortable, breakfast was tasty, the roof terrace was a nice place to relax. Distance from the main square and the souks was the only issue - the local 'guides' have been trying to get us lost all the time which wasn't very nice. Getting back to the riad was not easy either.

On first impressions it is quite easy to get lost on your way to the hotel- We initially thought the driver was taking us to the wrong place as it is in the ghetto and can be quite intimidating at night. Cab drivers wont even drop you closer to the hotel so you will have to walk -(this proved difficult for my Grandmother who walks with a stick) . The rooms are authentic Moroccan décor, but are somewhat dated and in need of touching up. There is a lovely pool and is essentially ideal for travel... Read more
