Fantastic hospitality in a nice area of the Medina. Great food and an excellent option for couples. I would highly recommend Road Dar Massai. Thank you for the excellent coffee, breakfasts and delicious dinners!

Chose this Riad based on previous reviews and from webbased photos. When we first arrived to the street outside by taxi we had to walk through a smelly and filthty ally where food vendors served raw food, vegs etc. I thought this was a bad choise and we couldnt even locate the riad despite being less than 50m away. We ordered pickup from airport but unfortunately noone came and picked us up, taking ab overprised cap is lesson no. 1 in barging for prices. Despite few hickups, entering the ria... Read more

Really nice our stay in Riad Dar Massaï. The best I would say is the charming and attentive staff. Yousef and his mother were very welcoming and helpful at all times. But the beauty of this riad wasn't only the staff. There rooms were neat and comfortable. well situated and wonderful breakfast. The only "bad thing" is that the hotel is closed to a mosque so the prays are loud. But this is nothing regarding with the riad. Thank you for your help RiAd Dar Massaï. Jose

Our stay at the Riad Dar Massai was wonderful. We ended up checking in late due to being held up at the airport. When we arrived we were welcomed into the amazing sanctuary and offered mint tea and dinner. The tangine was so delicious, it was so easy to instantly relax in the central shared area of the Riad with the pool. Once we had finished dinner we were shown to our room. The room was clean and had a lovely authentic Moroccan feel to it. Breakfast in the sunshine on the terrace was a highlig... Read more

We just spent 4 days in Marrakech at Riad Dar Massai. The offer of places to stay is vast so we opted for Dar Massai for it's location and great reviews. When we arrived we were in awe at the beauty of this place. We were welcomed by Youssef who was so nice from arrival to departure and all throughout our stay. Him along with the entire team at Dar Massai provided the outmost pleasant stay with attention to detail. Our room was spacious with all the amenities necessary for a great stay. AC wo... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights as a present to my mum for her 50th birthday, everything was perfect, cannot recommend this place highly enough. Youseef had a taxi collect us from the airport which was cheaper than you would be charged if did yourself from airport, highly recommended letting Youseef and the team cook for you, was such a tasty meal. BOOK, BOOK, BOOK!

A quiet hidden gem at the Kasbah. Perfect retreat after a hard day of haggling in town. Really wonderful staff, friendly and professional. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something private, homely and somewhat different from the usual large hotel chain accommodation.

My friend and I stayed at the Riad Dar Massai for 5 nights. Everything was great! Youssef is such a nice person. Everytime we asked him for advice or to organize something, he did it right away. The rooms are very nice, lovely and clean. We always had breakfast on the little rooftop and it was fantastic. Excellent coffee and specialties from morocco were served. The riad is located in medina, which is the old city of marrakech. The big square is just 5 minutes away. We definitely will come back ... Read more

Once you have actually found this Riad in a maze of narrow alleyways it is beautiful inside. We had the room on the top floor, which was perfect and traditionally decorated in a modern african theme. There are no views from the rooftop terrace, but it does get sun all day long, which is great. The food at the Riad Dar Massai is excellent. Breakfast on the roof terrace was wonderful, especially the huge jugs of tea and coffee sitting in the morning sun. We ate 2 evening meals he... Read more

Although we didn't like the location of Dar Massai, this little Dar is quaint. The room we booked was rather small but clean. We tried one of their special meals which we loved but we found it a bit overpriced camparing it to the prices outside. We tried to book a day trip to the waterfalls but the hotel staff gave us an expensive price and we decided to bargain with the taxi drivers a few meters outside the hotel. We got the ride to the waterfalls in half price. Breakfast was plenty and of good... Read more
