I imagine this place was once grand but is evidently slipping into disrepair. The original craftsmanship was excellent: nice woodwork and masonry. It desperately needs some paint and upkeep. It is located on the main square behind the kasbah, which is very central; on the other hand it can be noisy and there is pedestrian-only access. No parking nearby. Absent from our room was soap, glasses, hairdryer. Present were bar fridge, wifi that works and AC. Breakfast doesn't start till 8AM. We... Read more

The hotel is very Nice located at the big square in the medina. But of course that also means it is very crowded in the evening/night. The room we stayed in was spacious, but could use new paint and wallpaper. The breakfast was very nice, but sometimes it was hard to order something. More than once they forgot or the coffee...the water...etc. Diner was okay, but not as good as I read other reviews. I had a Hammam for 200 dirham and that was really great! I can recommend that for sure. The lady ... Read more

Very very yummy Moroccan food, maybe the best of all what I had in Morocco. We had Harira soup, tajin with plums, chicken tajin with lemon and olive, and Moroccan salad. Everything was sooo good and the service was excellent. It's in the middle of the old madinah and it has a Ryad attached to it. The price was really good, not expensive at all.

Hicham is right in the square at the old Kasbah. Our room was spacious, heated, and immaculately clean. The beds were very comfortable and the shower had lots of hot water and great pressure. It had a nice view out over a terrace. All the rooms appear to have a different decor The hotel is whimsical and rather like a maze over several floors. There are little nooks around the corners or tucked in an odd spaces that have sofas and art and just a place to relax if you don't want to be ins... Read more

Excellent rooms, service and food - great location to explore Chefchouen, easy to find. We had a fantastic stay, breakfast is excellent, although service can be a little slow - but that really doesn't matter.

I enjoyed the many terraces and alcoves on the property. This comes in handy when you need to get work done, want to relax, or are sharing a room and need some extra space. I thought the decor was whimsical and the ambiance intriguing. Each room, terrace, and floor of the hotel has a unique personality and is a feast for the senses. I enjoyed the black/white photographs, views of the Kasbah/town square, and meals in the restaurant. This was my home away from home, and we booked extra nights to e... Read more

Justo en la plaza, delante de la alcazaba. Trato espléndido. Buena comida. Terraza espectacular. Habitaciones bonitas. Lo tiene todo! Buen emplazamiento, buen trato, calidad, buen gusto y buen precio. Lástima que no acepten tarjeta de crédito.
