I've stayed here before with small groups and on other visits with my wife. Once again the Diwane hotel and staff exceeded expectations. So it's not the Ritz, but for sheer value for money, a comfortable stay, plenty of choice for breakfast, lovely friendly staff and good location with lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby, it's a no brainer to stay anywhere else.

The room was good and so what the cleaning But, something was wrong with the breakfast, and both me and my wife got sick (stomach) at different days (stayed 7 nights). So 2 of our days in Marrakesh were destroyed! Maybe it was the vegetables, or the water, who knows? ....and yes, can also add a nonchalant service at the reception when we got sick and wanted some help....

Our fourth visit confirmed once again our love of this hotel. Spacious clean rooms with fresh linen daily, a great menu choice with an expert Head Chef to explain the dishes available. Friendly, attentive staff whose single intent is to provide excellent service for their guests. A central haven to all that is Marrakech with restaurants, a shopping mall and supermarket all within easy reach. With shaded gardens and a pool when you need some time from sight seeing. Visit number five already ar... Read more

Thus is our 2nd time at Diwane hotel. We stayed last year. Location perfect, food shopping and lots of restaurants on Mohammed V rd. Bus journey away from madina and main square 4 dhirum each (30p) per person. Taxi depends of number of passengers. We were a group of 6 and on average we paid 50 each way. The hotel it's self is clean tidy and lovely helpful staff. We choose half board ehich was great with kids. You can choose with lunch or dinner so we had lunch the 1st day we arrived as we got... ... which made this a wonderful stay. It was out first time in Marrakech and we couldn't have asked for any more. We arrived at 12:00 before our rooms were ready and this wasn't a problem at all, we filled in the paperwork, paid the city tax and popped to the restaurant for lunch while our luggage was stored securely. The staff were very polite and very helpful. Bear in mind there is a tipping culture at any hotels in Morocco and it is well worth leaving the odd 10-20dh for the maids and staff a... Read more

Central location hotel set in Gueliz, approximately 30 min walk down to the square and souks. We had a room facing the pool with a balcony. Room was a bit dated but its decent for the price we paid. Food was mediocre, breakfasts are pretty much the same each morning. Evening meals again, very mediocre. If you happen to stay over the Friday and Saturday however there is usually some entertainment and BBQ. Staff are mostly fluent in French but wasn't much of a problem for us.

This hotel was comfortable. The rooms are large and the service is good. The staff are all very helpful. I only stayed there for 2 days so did not spend much time in the hotel. It was easy to get to the centre by bus.

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Diwane. This was the 4th time we have been to this hotel, it just gets better every time. All the staff are fantastic, friendly and very helpful. The hotel is really clean and is in a great location. If you are thinking of going to Marrakech I would highly recommended this hotel. When we stay here we request a room with a pool view, it's great sitting in the balcony in the evening chilling before going for dinner. They have a Moroccan themed night. which is... Read more

My friend and I had the pleasure of spending a week in the Diwane Hotel and spa and we found ALL of the staff extremely pleasant and helpful with our many requests and questions, the hotel was clean, the food was very good and plentiful. Just a few things let the hotel down somewhat, the toilet in our room wobbled, they did try to fix it but it still wobbled. The beds were very hard. Tea, coffee and water were not included in the dinner buffet. We had to pay for the key to the safe in our ro... Read more
