We (my wife and I and two adult children) stayed at this Riad for a week. Our choice was based on Trip Advisor reviews which we found were sadly out of date. The owners are no longer Juliet and Abdul and it seems they have n't been the owners for more than a year. We did not see the new owner. The Riad is rather dark and gloomy and the toilet in the one of the rooms we used had loose seat which kept falling off. This was repaired by the staff later on and they changed the room for us. We did fi... Read more

We stayed at the lovely road for about 4 days in October. We found it thanks to the good reviews and it was very fortunate for us!! The staff is incredible and very helpful! They helped us find everything we needed and guided us to the sites we should see! The rooms are clean and aesthetic and the location is amazing :) A special thank to Raja, that guided us on an amazing 4 day road trip from fez to Marrakech!

We had a very pleasant night at Riad Guennoun two years ago. It was our first night in Morocco (first time), so everything was new for us. Lovely hotel. It was our honeymoon and we had one of their suites. It was beautiful, big and very clean. Lighting was gorgeous. We had some fresh fruits in our room, and also a very Moroccan greeting with mint tea and delicious pastries. Breakfast was lovely. We arranged a pick up and everything was very organized by Juliet. Service was excellent.

This Riad is hands-down, one our most hospitable travel experiences ever ‚??‚?? world-wide. More than the Riad‚??s meticulously renovated seventeenth century architecture, its stunning internal courtyard and public areas, what makes this place so special are the owners and the staff. Juliet, who owns/runs the Riad, was raised in the U.K and Australia before marrying a Moroccan (the warm-hearted, effusive, Abdul). She seemed to dote on all her guests from around the globe and anticipate their eve... Read more

Wonderful Riad in Fez. Rooms are immaculate with wonderful details. The owners are lovely and go out of their way to help. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the city is stunning. I hope this wonderful Riad does well in the coming years as it deserves it.

¬®And the Award for the best Host of Moroccan Riad goes to‚?¶. (music of suspense playing, camera zooms in to shoot closer at the faces of the two nervous, yet excited winners)‚?¶ ‚??Juliet and Abdul of Dar Guennoun!‚?? **loud audience clap, while the couple walk to the stage** Really, I kept replaying this scene since we left the house. ‚?ļ If only Morocco does some kind of annual Tourism/Hospitality Award, one huge award deserves to be standing proudly in their home. Prior to our 3N-stay there... Read more

Me and my husband and our 9 month baby boy, sayed at this Riad for two weeks during our first family holiday. We chose this Riad because we had read positive reviews before hand on tripadvisor, we wanted a central place which we could easily come back to after wondering in he medina or going on our trips to the middle atlas, meknes etc. Beforehand I was communicating with one of the owners Juliette, who has been so helpful and organised everything, including organising a taxi to pick us from t... Spent a week here recently and it was the principal reason I had such a good holiday. Very comfortable bed and suite which was spacious and had brilliant WiFi. Juliet and the team that run the riad are the most charming and helpful of people and went beyond the normal help given by hotels. Beautiful terrace overlooking the Medina; sumptuous breakfasts and other meals if you want them. Whether you are a group or a single traveller this is the place to stay

My wife and I stayed at Riad Dar Guennoun in late September for four days .It was a very good choice. Our room on the ground floor was spacious, very clean and with a good shower. Breakfast was included and held on the roof top. The menu varied day to day and was more than ample. Australian born Juliet, the long standing owner and Said made sure our stay went smoothly. They arranged a guide for the medina and a day trip to Meknes and Volubilis. They could not have been more helpful. We highly reco... Read more

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here - recommended to us by some travelers we had met. Juliette (owner) and staff could not have been more helpful. Very restful after visiting the souks. Breakfast on the terrace was of course great!
